With the vertex's 50% reduced skill mana cost for socketed gems and a 21/20 reduced mana's 40% reduced skill mana cost, the level 21 cyclone setup will cost 1 mana. With LGoH from jewels alone, I can easily sustain the skill usage with vaal pact. I'll make a quick update after testing.

Would like to point out also that even though I am running with vaal pact atm, I only need one jewel with +3 LGoH to sustain my attacks which cost 20-22mana per cast. I am running with a life flask (originally as a 4 sip bleed removal, before the bleed immunity thing) to get my life back to full if I ever happen to run out of life (happens occasionally, once or twice per map)

Thanks for that tip! Just did it myself - killed rooster first and had no issues.

So protip: don't kill the hound first.

Not sure how possible the boss will be with dangerous mods, though. Slap a couple +dmg mods on there and that enraged hound could probably 1-shot you even with flasks up.

just facetanked Voll in a level 80 map (Wasteland) with overlord's mod (boss does +35% dmg 30% faster)... nice

Yup, that's exactly the spot I am shooting for to put the gem in and hopefully it'll be worth the points spent to test it out and see if I can get the ECs going above 4 or so. Will also be respeccing one point to get the EC from Oak, so have to remember to factor that into everything, but it should work out fine in the end.
Using cyclone as your main attack does worth decently enough to kill earlier map bosses..........but its no where near as good or consistent as using molten strike. RIP currency spent on testing this.
Just tried the Vaal Temple boss with +dmg and +cast/attack/move speed mods and got #rekt. Killed the first two OK but then titty bitch got me. I've never been a particularly skilled player vs the Trio so it could just be that, but they definitely are a lot more dangerous to this build with the IC duration nerfs.

You mentioned non-duel wield version... are you entertaining a dual moljner version? I have a second legacy one in the bank just staring at me.

BTW anyone having an issue with lifeleech or LGOH not working? Ia m bugged by this and I dont see any resolution posted in the feedback forums yet.

There is no point to using two mjolners honestly. Its much better to dual wield with Mjolner and Doryani's Catalyst. Mjolner still procs from hitting with both weapons, as long as Mjolner is is the main hand. If you run two mjolners, the offhand mjolner will never proc, and both mjolners will only proc the lightning gems in your main hand mjolner. Using Doryani's Catalyst will give you significantly more attack speed, more damage for yours spells (approximately 15% more) and more elemental leech, when compared to a GG spell shield. However, you will lose a lot of ES (almost 2000 in most scenarios). I will be giving this concept a proper re-test after settling on a finalized basic RainbowNuke build with everyone else. I will also concurrently test a crit variation.

So far Molten Strike seems to be working fine with LGoH. I also have no issues with the life leech gem whatsoever. However, Lightning Strike seems to be having some consistency issues whereby it will not always proc fortify on hit, so maybe this inconsistency extends to LGoH.

In 1.3, this build was certainly Uber Viable when properly geared. However, we will need to re-test this in 2.0. So far this build has been able to easily clear level 82 maps with ease, so I highly doubt Uber Atziri will be an impossible hurdle. Look out for testing regarding this from the various build testers here in the future.
