The idea is simple... Maintain 100% resistance to all damage types while in combat. We accomplish this by use of CI, Voll's Devotion, with either Romira's Banquet or Voll's Protector, along with Cast on Critical Strike + Immortal Call. We run with 87% passive elemental resistances (due to buffed elemental auras) and Surgeon's Elemental Flasks (which recharge on crit and give 13% to max resistances due to the witch flask effect nodes). it's pretty ingenius to maintain endurance charages in that way, however if you're going to go the endurance charge route there are better ways to maintain 100% physical immunity than immortal call

" all you have to do is lower the threshold of damage below which AA's flat reduction will make you immune. Things that convert physical damage to other sources aid this greatly. the higher your armor the harder hits you will be immune to. with 9 endurance charges and 28k armor and lightning coil you will be 100% immune to all hits that are less than 3800 raw damage (almost the level of Kole's big hit). If you chugged flasks it would bring your armor to 100k, making you immune to all hits that are less than 8k raw damage. @demivon All enemies will be able to shock stack you and you're still taking significant lightning damage. Immortal call stops all physical damage 100% of the time. Also 28k armor while being able to use AA/9 endurance charges? That isn't easy at all. You're losing out on a ton of HP if you're going that route which counters the whole point of tanky builds.
I've done a low armor build that procced a 13 second immortal call off cast when damage taken. No physical enemy could hurt me(obviously).. and you don't need any armor at all to counter reflect/enemies which is a huge benefit. Double reflect map with vuln and chargers? " you can't get shock stacked with 100% lightning immunity described in the OP It's true that long duration immortal call is probably more efficient but the OP is using it on rapid-fire CoC so there will be windows where it's not up. plus it's not hard to use immortal call on CWDT even for the build I described, if any damage is taken then immunity will kick in (unlikely). " What you described is not a realistic build for OP either. He has a normal number of endurance charges and no armor. On that note I don't consider OP's build anywhere near godmode with that ES but it's creative. I'd like you to try to map a passive skilltree where you can get all endurance charges, be able to maintain AA, somehow get lightning immunity(through enough aura nodes + inner force) and on top of all that getting 28k armor. |

" I've got a build with all that exept the endurance charges :( You'd have to use Koams sign + bandits and just settle for 5 either way, the theory still works with less endurance charges, it just gets a lot harder to get the armor. 2 is the minimum endurance charges needed but the armor requirements get sky-high. there are almost no windows in combat when immortal call is not up (unlucky no-crit/miss streaks), and out of combat if using romira ring, you will probably have around 5 seconds to get to the next pack. as you can see on the bed the buff icon is almost always up and with many seconds on the timer usually.
