Godmode Build
well the limitations of CoC-immortal call were just shown: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/864523
I still think there are better ways to be "immortal" than a gimmick with IC see my earlier posts IGN: OldManBalls (Warbands)

What is the point of such build? Even if it works, what has ever been more boring than godmode? The moment I played around with god mode cheats I stopped playing so many games that were funny before. Well, I play HC mostly. Making an invulnerable char removes the possibility to lose the game, and since all the challenge of such games is people trying to come as far as possible without losing, it removes the purpose of the game.
It's like cheating your D2 char to max stats and max level. Great. You did it. You won. Next game. PS: I have a far better and less costy way never to die: Don't play at all - also saves a lot time irl. IGN: Haeresie Last edited by Vomitorivm#3146 on Mar 28, 2014, 1:26:12 PM

" How is it not fun to feel like a god? I had a heck of a good time with hacked characters on D2. I played it normally, hacked it, played it normally, hacked it again. Lots of fun one shotting Diablo. Guild #YoloSwag <SWAG>

Nice build. I was just thinking about that combo of Uniques when Google turned up your thread.
Is there a reason why you spent 8 points to get +45% skill duration, but skipped 4 points worth of 45% buff/debuff duration that were already on your path? You'd net 4 extra points to spend elsewhere. Only thing I can think of is skill duration would give you longer ice walls and firestorms. Wouldn't 4 points into attack speed, crit chance, or spell/elemental damage be more meaningful to the build as a whole? In the Shadow tree, you took Spell Power, which gives 30% crit chance to spells only. There's a general 20% crit chance right there, and that would put you in line to take Coordination if you want +20 dex and +3% attack/cast speed. You could take that over a +30 if your accuracy and requirements are met. You're pretty damn close to Ghost Reaver, which would allow you to benefit from Blood Rage's life leech. Do you find you just don't need it? Same goes for Mind Drinker in the same area. I guess your Cyclone probably doesn't do much DPS on its own to justify life/mana leech? Where are your resists when fully buffed? You're 3 points away from Elemental Adaptation, which is a big temptation. Here, this allows you to take Nightstalker. * You lose +45% skill duration, +50% evasion, 20 dexterity, and 30% spell crit. * You gain +45% buff/debuff duration, +120% crit chance with daggers, +40% physical damage with daggers, +10% max energy shield, and 10 intelligence. |

good changes, but witch is definitely suboptimal after seeing what people are doing with scion now.

I am using a build similar to this except for cold resistance (there is almost no cold dps in high end maps that poses a treat)
its pretty cool and cheap (roughly 10 exalts +- worth of gear) I'm not 100% physical immune do, but the physical gets reduced so hard that i get max endurance charges from a lvl 1 Cwdt before my lvl 20 Cwdt proqs with lvl 20 IC + ID. It's a lot of fun :) And it enables high map farming on a cheap budget (lvl 77/78 maps are cheesy, except for dominus due to desync and non 100% physical immunity :P ) It's also not yet optimized fully. But it's great stuff when your only other option is spell block in endgame atm. Edit : i am also HP based, just noticed you are CI for chaos immunity also. Still cool stuff, to bad volls is league only :). Would definitely fiddle with it if i could :). Read thru the build and find it very interesting. so i decided to bring this build to the next level.
With these gears and gem setups, i was able to finish the normal atziri with 0 death. (well, who doesn't with these geras. : P )
Spoiler
Current stat is 70.2cc, 7k es with discipline, 86/84/86 with purities. 99/97/99 with flask. Cyclone itself has around 70k dps, and EK itself has high dps due to PA + RF. Overall dps is decent. Not OP, but enough to take down all kind of end game boss in a matter of seconds. I am still testing out what's the best blue gem for 6L. and ring and belt is flexible. Gift from above + Auxium or Dream ring + Magnate. At the end, the build is pretty strong. extremely fun to play with. Eventually i will try this build on uber once i get a hand on another "hope". Here's the tree if anyone wants to try with low life.

The one main optimization is to get the Purities corrupted up to level 21, such that they will be level 23 when inside Alpha's Howl. Also, to switch Purity of Lightning and Discipline in terms of their sockets once you manage to do so.
For those who are attempting something like this outside of Standard — where Voll's Devotion is not available — it is much more difficult but still possible. Key to making it work is Shackles of the Wretched, socketed with a level 1 Temporal Chains to multiply the duration of a single-charge Immortal Call without increasing the cooldown of Enduring Cry; additionally, the Banquet ring doesn't do anything in such a build, because there is no Voll's to combo with. This build is much, much easier with the Devotion — which, by the way, is by far the most OP item in the entire game. Another note — if you want to try this build without the Banquet, you can do so with a CoC+PCoC+ColdSnap chain on your main attack, although you'd probably need to hard-cast Immortal Call in that case. With Voll's Protector you can even drop the PCoC, although making multiple compromises on baseline survivability requires you to be more careful about maintaining immunity uptime.
