Makes sense to use 5L volls unless you have very high crit chance without power charges somehow. Slotwise they are equivalent since you'd need PCoC on the Tabula, whereas Volls will provide some defense and I think it has better power charge generation than PCoC.

" a very good question, I think it comes down to what you prefer: 1) Tabula rasa with a Power charge gem will grant you the power charges, but not as efficiently. If there are large gaps between fights, it will take more casts to achieve maximum power charges. 2) 5L volls guaranteed gets you power charges every crit. but reduces your mana by 50%. Either will work fine. If you have mana problems, maybe go with tabula. If you find your crit is a little low, perhaps the volls would be best. I have updated my gear a little. I have also changed auras. I no longer use haste or purity of fire. Instead, I only use clarity and AA. I am working on gear to allow level 17+ Arctic armor.

Nice guide.
Have you tried using Freezing Pulse instead of ice spear? The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

i used this build, but instead using wand, i use
work really well... but my hp is about 2K , and always die to ele reflect.. LOL |

i would say that with a wand you achieve greater dps and you also gain superior defenses
