Chris mentioned he was very saddened by the fat that spork was allowed to poop on the entire metagame for nearly half a year and that they would have liked to nerf it sooner if not for the tremendous backlash.


Honestly, game breaking exploits should be nerfed on the spot and by exploits i mean anything that breaks the power curve the devs intended for. CoDT is a prime example if a well timed and justified nerf.

I however do not think abusers should be banned or punished unless they crossed into rollback/dupe land.

Cross league trading within a barter economy, that always puzzled me. How does that operate exactly?

If i offer a ID fragment for 4 exalts, and in another league a mate gives me an item for free.

Am i cross league trading or am i using the bartering system, and the dude with the ID just hit the jackpot within that system?..

This rule is lacking, comon sense should be used to enforce it, i would imagine the same "comon" sense be used when you find a bug that "melts" endgame units within 0.2 seconds.

edit : this would mean, write it down, send it to the bug section of the forums, and don't touch it until you get a reply.

This was deliberately kept quiet by the players "in fear of the nerf", well im sorry, if this is not deserving of a nerf, then bring back all the other things that got nerfed, starting with legacy items and spork totems.

If GGG let this one "slide" sort of speak, how do you think players will look at the next league?...

Just in case: I'm not upset. I disappointed in GGG for letting it get this far.

Exactly this, the fact it was known and was allowed to continue is a bad sign.

This was like a bomb ticking, waiting to detonate. The drama know should not be a surprise to either the community/GGG.

Watching all the gear & gem swaps that accomplish this i feel as if i'm rubbing 2 twigs together with a 30kdps melee build

No that is a fair point. Respec isn't really necessary.

Edit: My issue was with the power leveling, then switching to something else already having gotten to such a high level.

Personally i think GGG should create a sort of twitch agreement. When you stream, you are taking upon yourself a role that other players will mimic.

Like peace keepers have a roll to be decent citizens upholding there batch.

Something similar could be enforced upon twitch streamers, allowing GGG to take swift action when necessary.

Not sure how to explain this any better in english, since it is not my main language.
But i figure it is within GGG's right to demand something like this be signed before streaming.

(we do it with every hc char we create, why not with every-time you link twitch to PoE?)
