I'd be very curious to see what will happen to Phase Run, too and how those Quicksilver Flasks will work. So far, I've only used Phase Run for fighting the Oversoul with my Ranger main but it was an important part of my tactics. On the other hand, there are probably tons of other/better/new ways to be figured out. So, yeah. I'll wait and see. :-)

I have to agree, it has become integral to a vast amount of builds and this will be quite worrying if it gets nerfed/changed in some way or another. I hope nothing will be changed with phase run and the flasks will be just an alternative. not only this, it also allows you to progress quicker, and more importantly, travel from one place to the next more quickly, and thus creating a sense of speed and fluidity to the game.

As i understand it,ggg wanted to reduce the rushing occured in races.What they thought,was taking out phase run as skill,cause it did 2 things rushing and gaving more boost to melle,instead now give u the option to refill those pots by fighting instead of rushing.

I also dont have high hopes of a special slot,i am sure there will be as any othe potion in its 5-slot-area.

If i am against all this logic?Hmm...maybe,cause that would reduce my jumping from one area to another without having to fight mobs.

LoL i,ve actually been thinking about suggesting all ressits rings, so i am very happy that this is coming out. :D GJ.
I don't see why rushing via Phase Run needs to be "nerfed" because it's used so much in races (and even outside of that). That's an integral part of racing, that you rush certain areas and even with Phase Run changed/removed nothing will change that. It's not even about races, without Phase Run I will just equip 1-2 of those new flasks and still completely skip Chamber of Sins and run straight through to the boss. Same with Terraces, Mud Flats, most part of Underground Passage, The Coves (Act 1 in general is almost purely rushed), most part of Caverns, Forest, Crossroads, you get the picture.

Unless several zones are redesigned you won't get me to stop completely skipping several areas, it's probably gonna be more of a nuisance now but that's it. So now I'm not only gonna be constantly swapping res rings back and forth, I'm also doing the same with flasks. Great...

Neglecting the current tactical, practical usage of phase run in melee combat is what concerns me the most. I don't use phase run just to move faster, as important as that may be.
Maybe my English is lacking today, but I don't see GGG saying they will nerf/remove phase run. It seems to me that those new flasks will simply be better for running around than phase run.
Merevils true form.......FISH! With so much onus on the pirate and water themes in act 1 i find a severe lack of fish disturbing to be honest, nay unsettleing..... how could such a slippup of such monumental proportions happen....this nneeds obviouse imediate and serious attention. It goes without saying that to acompany this and finally bring the game upto AAA status the added DLC (for a small fee of "as much of the game costs") "& Chips" would need to be rolled out in conjuncltion with the release.

Disclaimer: the above is a joke and relates metaphorically AND literally to practically every game out there now, namely being a takeaway 10 minute meal at best leaving nothing to be desired and also to the addition of irelevant non community based developtment by people who have obviously no grounding in reality whatsoever. Im sure that this, in principle, mirrors many an internal memo within the few large publishing companies out there.......sighs.

I have full confidence in GGG becoming a super-entity within the gaming world and not only for being the complete opposite to the above but for most of all REALISING the truth. You make a good game, improve on it constantly and listen to your customers whilst not loosing your vision and that in which you know makes it great.

To this end i see GGG DOMINATING this genre completely................and utterly.
