Enemy Health Bars Above Head

I wouldnt really want any of this, theres also another thread on damage numbers...

Do you want a clasic ARPG or not guys?
I want the old style, no life bars, no damage numbers, just playing.

About covering up the visuals, it can't be any worst than item names on the ground in party play :-p

Well yeah, more filtering options is something that could use some work.

Then just do what I would do...leave the option turned off! Why would it bother you that other people enjoy a different gaming experience than you do if it doesn't impact you in any real way?

Have you removed Asus ROG/GameFirst yet?
im not sure if someone has suggested this yet because im not going to read through all the comments, but how about a transparency setting for the hp bars?

I hate how gaming companies go completely against what their players are asking for just because "we dont think it should be that way". A large percentage of your player base is asking for it. Why not just say "hey, looks like you guys would like this as an option in the future, we will work on it". Instead of "Too bad so sad, we don't like it therefore you aint getting it"

Not trying to be a dick but Diablo 3 has done way to much of this kind of thing and I hate seeing it.

If I want a classic ARPG then I can go and play older classic ARPGS that don't have more fancy bells and whistles. Or, I could play a newer ARPG that does have them and if I didn't want to use all the bells and whistles, which are generally OPTIONS in the first place, then I will turn them off before playing. Same applies to this game...if GGG eventually includes floating life bars, damage numbers, etc, etc as options that can be toggled on and off, then why is it such a big deal to you? Turn them off and enjoy the older style and let people who want some newer stuff play with them on and enjoy the game that way.

I'm interested to see this as an Option as well.

Of course, first things first, work on the important things like acts, mechanics, fix bugs and stability/performance.
Nice stuff, please check out my SHOPS!

The devs are going to make the game that they want and that they enjoy playing. More than anything it's what gives them to drive to continue making it -- more than money or adoration.

Nobody wants to work on a game designed by committee. The end result is always something that's 12 years too late, has a bland art direction and map design, effects that offend nobody by being altogether the same, and with no way in the game to shoot yourself in the foot and thus never feel the rush of a narrow escape or a perfectly executed plan.

I've seen too much of that kind of thing and I hate seeing it.

please no hp bars over heads that would be very ugly!!!

also i think damage numbers are left off to make certain mechanics of the game a little bit hard to figure out for sure. i think they want certain mathmatics be a little bit less obvious to optimize specially since they dont overpunish a less effecient build. an inefficient build can still be good as long as it is well concieved so i like how the super effecient versions seem a little more secret and more difficult to figure out.

What about just changing the way the monsters look at lower health? So it's still thematic but gives a visual clue.
