Enemy Health Bars Above Head

It might be a nice feature to add health bars directly above enemy heads that you can toggle on or off. I for one know that when I hit several enemies with a poison arrow, I would like to see which enemies I can just let die, or which enemies I have to smack a couple more times.

Thanks

I'll see what our artists think of the idea! It could be that it ruins the look, covers up too much, but is something you must have on all the time as an AoE character. We'll have to see!

Why above their heads? Why not, say, in a pool at their feet?
I have wandered through insanity;
I have walked the spiral out.
Heard its twisted dreamed inanity
In a whisper, in a shout.
In the babbling cacophony
The refrains are all the same:
"[permutations of humanity]
are unworthy of the name!"
+1 to this idea, make them very thin so they don't take too much space
I'm against this.
I feel it will ruin the look.
If this is implemented, it should be an option to toggle on or off.

Seen how it is an option in every other game, I doubt they'd force it down your throat here.

When you run D2 in Glide mode, there's an outline around enemies that turns from green to red as they take damage. I can't think of a better way to do this.

Problem with that is that it either covers up auras they have, or clips through the ground! Worked well in Bastion, except for on a few ground types that made it hard to see :P

Problem with this is green looks like a friendly outline! We'll have to investigate, try and find the sweet spot. At the end of the day, our art guys will come up with something that fits :P

Why not just make an "orb" that floats around the mob or next to the mob that changes color at % delimiters? It could look fluid, like any other spell/aura, with the option to toggle on and off.

The problem being we have Orbs around monsters already, like Viper Strike and... Other secret new skills.
