And here I was hoping to use Chain and Fork on Lighting Arrow. Just imagine, 3 chains would mean potentially 27 targets hit. :D I guess 9 will have to be enough.

Arc looks interesting, going to want to try it out. Great patch, lots of cool stuff!

Wish there was some good news for Traps... Totems get all the love while traps are borderline useless.

Well, Lightning arrow doesn't pierce, so you can fork and chain. But it only forks and chains once, so I don't know how you could hit 27 enemies.

They come into their own when leveled up.
Unavailable
Early game they are meh, unlike flame totem which feels effective right away.
Some items in this post are currently unavailable.

Removed special chests from the Cave in the Old Fields and from the Weaver's Chambers. All dungeon areas now have a chance of spawning a special chest. There is also now a guaranteed one in the Dread Thicket.

I'm a little confused with this one Chris. Now you're removing all the chests and there's a "chance" of spawning a special chest??? Thanks. I see you're starting to walk down blizz's path with D3 - remove this, remove that, but ok, just won't do these areas anymore as there is really no reason to now... Why do something if there's a "chance" for a drop?? But that's ok, it was too good to think that the "uniqueness" of this game would last forever...

And the dread thicket ALWAYS had a chest; EVERY SINGLE TIME I WAS THERE A CHEST WAS THERE, so I'm not sure what you mean with this statement.

Really nice sneak pic of act 3 :)

Please dont make it too frequent like it is in D3 where our chars keep talking all the time ^^

It would appear from the changes, that they are moving this game in D3's direction very subtely....

A couple of patches ago all bosses (including the Weaver and the White Beast) got their boss drops improved. Also, both area's are still part of quests.

But I think you misunderstand the fact that ALL dungeons now have a chance to spawn a special chest, not only the ones that had them before. Basically, you can now run into chests everywhere, which means it is a whole lot more fun.

Added a new Dexterity Support Gem - Chain: Projectiles chain to nearby enemies as they hit their targets.
Added a new Dexterity Support Gem - Fork: Projectile fork into two new projectiles as they hit their targets.

Do these two gems stack with eachother?

If I could chain and fork Arc (that already chains?)

That would just be... omg AoE SCREEN-WIDE CLUSTERFUCK WTF-BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

O.o

And people said I was crazy for suggesting penetration nodes on the tree, GGG goes and creates support gems for it instead.
