What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end?

Please for the love of god do not allow legacy items into the already broken economy. The silverbranch legacy was a tough pill to swallow for me but this will be 100 times worse since it will matter for more than 10 minutes at the start of a new character. I own several items that one would think are nerf worthy kaoms heart, soul taker, lioneye (less so now since the evasion/accuracy reword) and I am strongly in favour of nerfing them rather than keeping them legacy. Also I think it's a terrible idea to stop the league only unique items from dropping. Another potentially huge legacy issue.

funny, d3 is moving away from it knowing full well how 'cool' it was to play economy instead of the game

It'd be a waste of good item types and uniques if they didn't drop in standard after all this is done. Amethyst rings especially added a way to deal with tough chaos damage areas without having to wear rare items that you likely don't have many of.

Severely nerfing legacy unique is absolut no way, and GGG knows that. People asking for that are just too far from the reality of this business. And this is especially true for Kaom and Shav with builds designed around them.

This sucks. Old Uniques will be unbalanced and will cost so much. Some builds won't work with the new uniques, but will with the old ones. Someone, who can buy these uniques right now can make tons of money by buying them now and selling them later. Rich becomes richer, poor becomes poorer. This sucks, I hate legacy items. The Silverbranch was ok, because nobody uses it endgame, and it's ok, that it's a collector's item, but these old uniques will be unbalanced as fuck.

just like they being afraid (cowards trial anyone?) of nerfing Kaoms nefed entire life tree..

keep telling that bul.. about 'it will not affect you'. it will. because ggg will balance entire game around these bullshit items making it almost impossible to play without them

life builds without kaoms? possible - albeit requiring gear more expensive than kaoms itself...

I can't believe you intend to create legacy items that were DEEMED TOO POWERFUL.

If you nerf Koams you should nerf every Koams.

Only in Standard League

Anyone who knows anything about the way PoE is designed will be playing in one of the other leagues with a fresh economy and new items.

I don't like the onyx change at all.

People will hord the old, higher stat amulets to make a profit for ages until the new league comes out. The old amulets will be worth a ton. Generally I don't like the idea of items floating around which you cannot drop anymore, as long as they are OP. I have a feeling the old onyx amulet will be OP at some point for certain builds.
