What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end?

Anarchy and Onslaught-only Unique items will not drop any more. Some or all of them may return in the future.

Bad move, must say I'm really disappointed in you now. This only promotes playing in SC where these items will be available forever...

Edit: Not to mention how late you're giving us this information, we should have been informed about this at the very latest half way though in my opinion.

Also, I assume the answer is no but confirmation is always good, chancing them won't be possible either right?

you are the first one who states that GGG promotes SC :)

I really feel like the anarchy and onslaught uniques not dropping anymore is an an absolutely idiotic move. I understand how they wanted people to do these new leagues to experience new things and a new "meta" without certain uniques, and that it was a limited time thing.

But to just outright turn several pretty unique (derp) uniques into legacy items? Just foolish...It's just creating an even more exclusive playerbase. There really is no need for this whatsoever, the game needs more variety not less.

Newer player has a build that would greatly benefit from one of the Ana/Ons uniques? Too bad! Talk to Johhny McScalper, he'll cut you a REAL quick sale deal of ten times what it used to be worth.

That with a Kaom's nerf and old ones being legacy, just more of rich getting richer and poor getting poorer...

I love this game, I really do. I love what GGG has done for the most part, but their handling of the way the economy works and introduction of several turbo broken uniques is just completely disheartening.

Path of Exile, the United States Economy Simulator...Where all the currency stays at the top and if you aren't in the top? We'll fuck you!

Well this move does just that. Want to play a build using Shav's ring a few months down the line? Then better pony up XX exalts in HC if you can find one or just go play SC...

Legacy OP items and unobtainable unique in parent leagues is not something I or my in game friends support, I will still play the game but will not support this direction financially.

Hardcore only, cause yolo :)
Yeah what these people say, let the anarchy/onslaught uniques drop in all leagues, they're build enablers and some people don't want to miss out on them.
lol....standard league is the dumpster into which all other leagues eventually fall. Whether it be dead hardcore characters or the end of Anarchy league, everything ends up in Standard.

You can either think of it as a showcase for your characters and gear or a graveyard for your dead (hardcore) characters.

I guess if you really wanted to, you could use it as a playground to try out whacky new builds with overpowered gears or something, but imho, the real game is based in leagues such as Anarchy and Onslaught - and whatever comes next.

Just think... every 4 months a completely fresh economy with new items, new rules and a new ladder (for those that care about such things). Standard league on the other hand will just continue to fill up with all of Piety's mis-experiments until it looks like the blockage in the Act III sewers.

Skill Resets are the last refuge of the weak and incompetent.
Keeping Ana/Ons uniques and old uniques as Legacy items makes no sense for me.

Just imagine: someone created a character, made a build, upped it to level 80+.
Then you buff/nerf passives somewhere in the middle of that build's tree.
But characters that were created before change must respec nodes to get that update. Does that make any sense?

Either fully transfer or fully remove Ana/Ons uniques
Either change all uniques including existing or don't touch them at all.

Also, I don't care about ladders, new leagues, Hardcore and Races.
Casual softcore slow pace leveling and entertaining (not necessery effective) builds is the way I and my friends enjoy this game. If you focus on that leagues/races whatever - ok. If you create some content for them - ok.
But if I know that to get some shiny piece for my next awful build I have either pay some crazy amount of currencies (which I will never have in the first place) or play that darn leagues, that's absolutely NOT ok.

Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.

I like how people pretend like new leagues don't also have crap economies in less than a month.

Hardcore will be the same as Softcore in that regard with the exception of these time limited uniques which is why it makes no sense to not have them drop in SC/HC. With rolling 4 month leagues and the practice of limiting supply of some items why even bother playing HC at all when you can have access to said items in SC between leagues?

To me it's just a bad move overall for HC.
