So will Life Leech gem + Ghost Reaver passive node (Leech Energy Shield instead of Life) mean you'll leech ES? If so, that should start to finally make a tempest shield build viable.
Life Leech works as follows (with one exception):
You do damage, you get back life based on a percentage of that damage. If you do 1000 damage to a mob with 500 life, you still leech life (and mana) based on the damage you did even though the damage taken was lower.

Ghost Reaver will convert that life into ES. So you kill a mob with a 1000 damage attack, you leech (let's say) 4% Life which is then converted to 40 Energy Shield.

The exception is damage to Energy Shield. If your damage hits a mob protected by energy shield, you don't leech anything back (until the damage depletes said Energy Shield), which, in my opinion, is a bug as the leech is done as a percentage of damage and you are still outputting damage.

Making maps more common but adjusting whether item quantity on your character affects the drop rate of maps.

I personally hope quantity wont affect the drop rate of maps D:

I get kicked constantly from parties because i "kill to fast" and dont have more quantity than the party members....

great work ! arenas plox
ok,

1 alch on Sapphire Finger, Topaz Ring.

:)

PS. You are forcing CI ES builds waaay too much. Leech ES? Epic. Now almost everyone will go CI, except for first time players. And double armor from IR...bug? Hm...We will see how that will affect my defense. I hope not too much >.>

Would it be to hard to add an auto-format to the inventory and just more space in general to it, this or the next patch?

I'm liking the patch though :)
Keep it up guys, you are doing an awesome job. This is a spectacular game even in its state.

Side note: didn't realize there were that many bugs. lol and a lot of them occur with key bindings.

great work on the way and thanks again.
Vaal Pact seems very interesting. I will have to test this out, but not having life regeneration seems very tough for my Mara build. It's going to be fun test this out. Might even have to make a Templar now. I can't wait for this update. Good times ahead!

Also, it would be amazing if we got a chance to play with the 9.12 passive tree before release. :) Maybe I'm just too impatient.

Hi DEV'S

New patch notes look interesting. Any chance or discussion about adding a few more lines to the skill tree to allow better access to nodes on the outside ring?

awesome work rock on)

Regarding explosive arrow

"
Explosive Arrow: Now does not explode each time it pierces through monsters.

Does this mean that I will not lay a fuse if arrow pierces?

If so this is a huge nerf to EA!

Yes, you're correct. I look forward to your feedback after trying it out!

Chris, I don't know why you would do this. One of my characters relies on explosive arrow piercing enemies and this will effectively ruin the whole build. Why? Because explosive arrow already requires a TON of mana and is worthless in a 1v1 situation. If GGG lowered its mana cost while making this change then I could understand; however, with this new modification the player will only be able to light up 5 monsters at a time (using greater multiple projectiles) - which is barely/not enough to kill a group of whites - and loses 100% of their mana in the process.

Also: since my build is totally ruined and new keystones are being added, will there be a chance to reset our skill trees?
