Contents of the 0.11.3 patch

experience penalties are for those who persevere to die
them are casual players, so please don't whine about tiny % of lost experience; if you're not a casual player you won't find hard to recover the lost experience and most of all understand what did kill you.

id prefer a league where you can go below 0%, meaning that if you die at 0% you go lvl-1(85%)

Hey Chris!

I posted the following the yesterday's post about death consequence:

Take example on DEMON'S SOULS! Keep the experience loss when you die High (like 15%), but allow the player to be able to regain that lost experience exactly at the spot where he died (like a big glowing orb that you click on or however you guys think 'experience' should look like lol).

BUT if the player die AGAIN wherever before regaining his lost 15% XP, well that 1st 15% is gone forever, and now there's a new 'XP Spot' you have to regain, where you died the last time.

So yeah, basically like Demon's Souls, but only a % of the XP like we already have, not all XP like in Demon's Souls.

I THINK this a GREAT "punishment" mechanic.
I opt for adding exp penalty for zone camping and manual disconnects in Hardcore League

5 minutes in zone: 10% exp loss
6 minutes in zone: 20% exp loss
7 minutes in zone: 50% exp loss
8 minutes 10 seconds in zone: 100% exp loss
10 minutes in zone: Death

1st entrance to the zone: 10% exp loss
2nd entrance to the same zone: 100% exp loss or even -1 level

Yeap. i dont know why they didint do this yet tbh. it gives you a motive to keep going and try to fight for your xp. i was expecting them to bump the xp loss up not DOWN lol.

i guess no since you're an exile, try to convert the term "guild" to "party" and you have all what you need already in game. you can do pvp, you can do races and so on. maybe yes, i hope that one day they'll add to the game some sort of ARENA where you can do all the classic deathmatch capturetheflag and so on games...

i think that safe areas are small because of the story of the game, small number of survivors, then for stability reasons i guess.

i disagree, this mechanic is bad; in my opinion death penalty should be as severe as possible; there are plenty "forever rewarding" games out there, this should remain an HARD CLOSE TO IMPOSSIBLE game, or it would lose most of it's core players

lol why? there is no reason at all to do this, discconections are the unique way to save this game from the desync attacks... ah now i get it, it's just a mere troll in action
