Not sure why you listened to the hard cores and increased the death penalty over your original decision for the casual league. Very disappointing. Just died again in merc, still trying to improve my build and gear but really am not enjoying getting pushed back and back over and over. Better things to do than spend another few weeks trying to gain 1 level.

10% is still way to high for xp loss would like to see it at around 7%. Frustrating enough as it is thanks and 75% of all deaths are caused by your stupid #$%^ing desync so why dont you do us all a favor and removed the penalty untill you can purchase better servers and fix your desyncing issues.

Keep up the good work, enjoying the game.
I don't get the death penalty qq, risk is a parallel concept to reward. Player feedback as always is 10% useful and 90% poison. This game has the feel of developer design and not that of a constantly qqing playerbase. Having a solid design philosophy is key to fanbase that sticks around. I haven't enjoyed a arpg this much since my D2 days. " D3 has the most popular forums on the internet. Most of them don't actually play the game and will reccomend you to poe or d2 if you ask. The forums are hillarious, but I wouldn't want that kinda popularity in poe. |

" Besides the Obama line, this is actually a decent comment. btw, 'Hardcore' is either providing for a family or porn industry terminology. I'd tear apart every 'hardcore gamer' like a wet newspaper. Games should be fun, not ridiculously hard and solely playable by the dedicated-for-life-and-no-clue-what-a-real-woman-looks-like 24/7 playin ultrageeks. " I'm gonna use this quote as my sig from now on. Last edited by 0siris#4270 on Jul 31, 2013, 6:48:48 PM

What is with these comments on a small patch.
Ever since the time around wow wotlk every forums has had a large group of people running around trying to nerf everything. Why do they do this and where did they come from? It reminds me of that episode of futurama where Lila plays blurmsball... Just because I'm involved in RL means I can't be a skilled gamer and should want everything hand held with no risk or reward? These people make me want to grow a neckbeard and quit my job so I don't get lumped in with these "casual" players. You can be skilled at RL and games at the same time, if you aren't it's likely that your lack of skill irl brought you here just to screw with gamers and try and make them as miserable as you to make yourself feel better. I worked hard to get a job that I can do from home to have more time gaming. If your running around trying to nerf every game on forums your not a "casual gamer", your someone who got bored of their choices and decided to criticize someone else's. Raising a family is hardcore? Maybe in some countries. Here in the US if you lose your job they'll give you more $$ in welfare for having children than I make fixing computers. If your priority is gaming trying to raise a family legit might not be a good choice. There's plenty of games out there that cave into these groups demands to nerf everything and add accessibility until it overrides any need to socialize with others. There's a place for those games too, but leave some untainted for those of us who enjoy a moderate challenge and mix of risk and reward with a social community. People need to understand 2 things : 1# Not all "casuals" are helpless and want to be spoon fed. 2# If your not a developer for the game, there's a good chance that what you think you want will effect some other connected aspect and actually make the game worse for you. Seems a little overdramatic? I've watched what player feedback did to wow, rift, D3, Tera, swtor from beta to current. Poe is the only game I still enjoy, new age casuals need to leave it be. And here it is again : the link between nerfing and casualness.
99% of non-24/7 players NEVER asked to nerf wow vanilla attunements, for instance. They just did that as a policy, to nerf content so 'hardcore' players had to find new ways to get endorphines. Who spoke about nerfing stuff ? Nothing needs to be nerfed. Devs just don't need to listen to those overachievers on top, playing day and night. Their opinion is the one that's worthless. If this game is meant to be for those people that can play it 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, only, I'm on the wrong track. Last edited by 0siris#4270 on Jul 31, 2013, 6:43:32 PM
