Well, 10 runs take what? Maybe 75 minutes? 90? Not that long really. And for that time I would not change away from Frost Sentinels.

%life mindmg jewels are not necessary, just luxury items. You can get away with just 7% hp jewels.

After the patch I am not able to raise solar guards outside of act 3. I am on a map with solar fanatics and they are not spawning at all. Apparently you cannot bring them in like before to raise them. Can I still raise t11 solar guards?

Same, i just got my solar guards from act 8 solaris temple, then went to shaped mesa(t10) with Solaris Fanatics mod and no Solar guards from desecrating , also didnt found any solar guard among mobs...

That's because they changed the way Desecrate spawns corpses with the addition of persistent spectres in 3.0.2:

Desecrate can now only create monsters that are in the instance it is used in. In areas where no monsters have spawned, a specific desecrate table is used. This fixes a longstanding bug with the desecration list that had further problems introduced due to persistent spectres.

Get lucky... That is about it. For Solar Guards roll solar fanatics on a bunch of T16 maps and hope it only takes you 10. For Frost Sentinels do the same but hope it does take less than 100.

It takes 5 fuckin years for GGG to give a LITTLE bit of QoL to spectre builds. And in the same patch they fuck them over too. Admittedly, it was an unintended feature that you could Desecrate high level spectres if you already had low level versions of them, but still, this just sucks. Was so hyped for this patch...
