How do you keep your flame sentinals from dying so quickly? Just flask spamming?

Merciless/map level Sentinels with the soul weaver node are pretty much immortal. Can u tell me what kind of bosses are you facing.

Yeah im assuming once i get soul weaver i will be fine, but pre- soul weaver its pretty hard to keep the flame sentinals alive fighting pretty much anything.

you can use a tankier spectre for now try:


Knitted Horror + Min Dmg + GMP + Rapid Decay + Slower Proj + Pierce

Yeah, this seems much easier, also do you think the build still needs elemental equilibrium? or unspec it.

I would keep elemental equilibrium in case you want to summon a elemental based spectre. Once you have soul weaver try a map level undying incinerator. Their dps is off the charts.

Im currently playing ur build (2nd try since my first Summoner ripd) and do very ok without the belt.
I might try using it again even tho i died the last time. Find it is super risky since sometimes u cant really prevent massive dmg income and not beeing able to panicpot.. im just not used to it i guess.

But overall i just started mapping and the Spectres (doesnt even matter which one) just facemelt everything. So at the moment im still >okay< without the belt.

Whats ur opinion on that?

The belt is very risky in HC. Its kinda micro-intensive but I actually open my inventory unequip the belt which means u can use flasks for yourself and use my seething flask if I see that I am taking massive damage on my life bar. The other option is to whirling blades to safety and hit your sulphur flasks for the consecrated ground and regen.

In all the belt makes u play and think strategically. This build is very tanky but whirling blades into a double pernadus pack is still suicide in HC.

Should I equip a Stibnite flask to counter attack based bosses?
When is the best time to use lion's Roar? KB stun locking this melee boss is a good idea.

Also I highly recommend Poacher's mark over temporal chains. It keeps your charges at max and I basically spam whirling blade -> curse setup -> 123 -> flesh offering/bone offering -> whirling to next pack.

My 123 flasks are silver flask of adrenaline, Sulphur flask, Atziri Promise. I have these at near 100% uptime with poacher's.

Don't forget to use your Lion's Roar. You can use it to disengage as it knocks everything back and makes everything flee as well. It will give you ample time to escape and recoup via life regen.

Your welcome to drop the belt and do a normal flask setup. I guess the belt isn't for everyone xD, it does amplify your dps to absurd levels combine that with vaal haste and the dps is just nuts.

Hmm, well i got soul weaver and the first map i brought flame sentinals into they died, welp. I guess ill just stick with Knitted Horrors.

Did you raise the level 68 sentinels from the map portal room? My sentinels have never died once even in t10+ maps.
