Any tips for dealing with hard map bosses? I'm using NA with rathpith, 75/75 block with bone offering up, lvl 19 raise zombie gem and my minions still keep dying to certain map bosses. Don't have that much trouble against elemental based bosses like Shrine piety or Crematorium anymore due to the spell block. But physical bosses like the Courtyard cycloner or Academy boss with bad map mods still wreck my minions. Today I did an academy boss with +monster dmg and additional projectiles, even with 75/75 block my minions just melted. Any tips for making zombies stronger against physical dmg?

I guess this won't matter once they fix snapshotting but I am trying to hit 90 on ambush first and any tips so I have to resummon less would be appreciated :D

That's the trick right there, use flesh offering full time, when you get to the boss have your vaal haste/vaal grace ready and you won't lose anything. You don't even need rathpith with vaal grace, I like to use prism to jam on more auras.

I already use vaal grace, I had it up but my zombies still got wrecked after it expired. I think next time I will just bumrush him and hope I can kill the guy before he gets too many tornadoes up.

And later my minions got wrecked by the rogue exile that summons the minions with minion instability as well. Actually kind of look forward to losing snapshotting so that it won't be such a hassle every time my minions die.

Unrelated to the build. Just a general summoner idea.

With the buff to SRS I was thinking to utilize the new unique staff for the cast speed boost and doublecast while still keeping them 6L. It will theoretically allow for many more spirits at any given time as self caster.

Only downside would be inability to overlevel the gem, as one could with +1 to gems chest or +1+2 staff, or even chober chaber.

Added a new Intelligence Support Gem - Spell Echo: Supported spells repeat an additional time. This only works for spells manually cast by the caster or by a spell-casting spectre.


Spell echo seems interesting to use for our spectres, in combination with faster casting those flame sentinels are going to be absolutely ridiculous :D
While I agree the specters that spell cast will be awesome w/ echo, their survivability is going to be shit. Which specters you know that are tanky cast spells???
