Screw the feedback forum, just tell the devs to come here and read through the last 3-4 pages...

Speaking of feedback does GGG have a history of reverting or fixing their own patching screw-ups that cause grievance to players, similar to those mentioned in this topic? In other words, do more experienced players think that the devs might reintroduce the Smoke Mine until a more permanent solution can be found, ie. a spell that "calls" zombies to come?

I gave the summoner another chance, and the overall experience is not even 20% of what it used to be with the minion-control Smoke mine provided. Sure, moving minions around is doable just like it's doable for Oscar Pistorius to run around without his prostetic legs... he can probably do it, but it's a GIGANTIC pain in the ass.

As things stand, I literally shifted to IIR and am piling up currency to start a Facebreaker Duelist, and will then proceed to use the summoner merely as a IIR bitch, because otherwise I literally burn out after 4-5 indoor maps with this stupidly crippled summoner.

Nice to read. Here's hoping it does not just act as the same functionality as running a screen away where half teleport to you and the other half still attack or try to (slowly) run to you :p

Very quick question from a new player if I may. I'm not sure whether this has been covered but how do lower players handle the mana issues when running auras? After putting vitality on I hardly have any mana in the mana pool to summon more than 2 zombies at a time.

Overtime you'll get mana nodes from the passive tree, as well as EB (Eldritch Battery) + Discipline to allow you to run more auras, Clarity being one of those to help your mana regen. There are more specifics to it, but you should perhaps consult the 40 by 40 spec instructions in the 1st post (look for "Passive Tree: trees split into 40 pt increments").

for low level, you are limited to underleveled reduced mana and reduced reserve nodes

Id say the goal is to get those nodes soon, but besides purity theres no required auras. with minion regen from tree and snapshot vit is not mandatory.

I still can't get in which place was smoke mine imbalanced??? Just why???
What's the general opinion on Alpha Howl and running 3x Purity in it? Or would you rather use it for other Auras and run Purity of Elements?

You won't get higher max res while running purities in it, only with empower you'll get +2, but it's not worth that. The best will be grace/discipline/wrath/anger/vitality/determination

Perhaps the temporary Blind and Speed boost? A "Call" command shouldn't have those anyway, but aside from those two temporary buffs I'd say the new skill should be pretty much the same as Smoke Mine.
