The only nerf noticeable is probably the
"Smoke Mine no longer teleports your minions with you when detonated."

which I have no idea why they would do that? It was one of those mechanics that gave summoners proper utility. In Diablo 2 you were able to teleport your minions with you so u can bypass their shitty AI. I swear GGG has been directly nerfing this build for the past 3-5 patches lol...

I really do feel like complaining about the smoke mine thou. I really don't understand why they got rid of a utility that made summoners more fun and playable....................

Probably having your minions teleport to you when , you they are stuck to the next room in tunnels or torture chambers is bad.

EDIT: Mattc you probably didnt see how the Eva Shield Works...

You could teleport your evangelist on top of you granting an instant shielding. But they got rid of the shielding duration wasn't that enough to remedy the situation...

Ugh well. The build should still be just as powerful as before this patch. They did not nerf(much) our dps only our utility.

I imagine that minion movement speed may be the main reason?

Smoke mine makes minion move "instantly", if so movement gem or minion movement stat are pretty useless. But who knows?
I thought smoke mine is the only solution for stupid minion AI nowadays..

Does GGG think their minion AI design is good!? Ha..

Argh. Why would they fix a "bug" (smoke mine), which actually made the game better? It makes no sense to me. Minion AI is absolutely terrible and this is one way to overcome that. Minions will just sit there running against a wall trying to get to you while other monsters just kill them.

Your minions can move at the speed of light but that will do no good when they get stuck on walls/corners or pigeon holed on attacking some mob off-screen. The main reason they nerf smoke mine was because people were abusing smoke mine teleports with evangelist to deal with Atziri and anything people use at the top of the ladder gets nerfed. This was how CoD got noticed.

Maybe I shouldn't reveal any interesting summoner mechanics in my guide when I find them because it seems to get nerfed every single time =(.

Just a heads up for every one saying the build has been nerfed. In essence it really hasn't, this build was more than viable before smoke mine existed. The only nerf is the hit on a useful utility.

Build has not been Nerfed, Just utility. /tear Smoke mine......
with smoke mine i found minion mechanics really fun and enjoyable, without it it feels really clunky and messy :( I am really dissapointed that it is gone from my arsenal. even if we just had a "gather" option i would be so very happy.
