guys i'm having trouble snap shotting my 5L. does it only work with a tabula rasa? still undecided if I'm getting one.. anyway here's my 5l chest for snap shotting and my cloak of defiance. I put the zombie gem in the bottom left blue slot. Does it have to be in the upper left/right socket? Thanks.

Your cod is wrong-linked. You'll never be able to summon like that. Your 5l chest contains 2 links: 1st link is 5l sockets. The second one is the last lonely socket. Cloak has 3 links: first two are 2 lonely sockets, and the last one is 4l sockets. To snapshot you have to put your gems into the same link and into the same socket number in that link(not sure about socket number). So you better to re-link and then re-color.

Hi, so basically they have to have the same number of links and socket colors? In Mattc's video on the first page, his cloak contains 3 links. He just said to make sure you put the spectre/zombie gems in the same socket and make sure they are linked. This is all new to me sorry

On your cloak of defiance you need to link the slots with multi and melee splash.
The rz/rs gem should be placed in the slot where you hold melee splash
The prerequisite would be to link your red slot and recolor the 2nd to blue.

If you link the first 5 slot on your cloak your snapshooting would work with the current gem placement.

Im thinking about empower gem, what about i set up like rz+empower+multistrike+fasterattacks+meleephysical+meleesplash ( or boss fights minion life or remote mine instead of splash )

expamle lv 3 empower gives +2 level to our zombies and they grants huge amount life dmg and def?
why no one using empower i didint see?

If I get to 5 or 6L my cloak I wouldn't even have to snapshot anymore. :) what i don't get is in mattc's video where he talked about snapshotting, you can clearly see that his cloak of defiance is not a 5L but snapshotting works for him. His cloak which is a 5S, has 3 links (2/2/1). He just said to make sure you put the rz gem in the same socket in your cloak(which is the bottom left socket in my case) and it should work. I really don't get it.. lawl

LOL finally got it to work.. used up my last few remaining fusings and chroms. My rz gem is now in the top right socket. I just had to connect the top 2 sockets to make it work. :)

For just damage, it's no good. Your single zombie dps would drop from 16000 to 14000. Based on the sixth slot being used for remote mine, and lvl 20 gems. 17.8k to 15.5k for 20quality. You would be gaining about 1800 life though, if that's worth it to you.

hm , does inner force help with AA / auras? i dont seem to see the change in effect.

It won't show up on the tooltip but check your defensive stats.

yes. i did check my mana regen before i added inner force.
once i added it and refreshed clarity , my mana regen was still the same.

It could be that you gain is so little it does not show up on the tooltip. AA definitely does work on AA and auras and a bunch of other self buffs unless the devs has been lying to us =P.
