Does item rarity gem work with zombie and specter spells? I found a pretty OP headpiece for my level (Act 3 Cruel), and I tried out an item rarity gem with it that I had been leveling. I didn't know if it actually works or not.

Here is my headpiece with the gems I'm using currently. I replaced a minion damage gem with the item rarity, I could replace it back if item rarity doesn't work with minion gems.


I know my gems aren't the same as what the guide wrote, but I didn't have enough chromes to get two off colors on the helmet and I'm still self-found for gear. It is still really strong for my current level in Cruel Act 3.

Also, what is the best way to get your minions to attack something in front of you without getting close and possibly dieing?

Searing bond, flame totem build with tanky minions for distraction. That kind of build literally doesn't even need links to be effective lol. Just searing + Iburning + IIR + IIQ.

yes it does.

You can use attacks/spells to direct your minions. For example cursing in the general direction of the mobs will make your minions run that way. Same case for any spells attacks. They seem to follow where your cursor is trying to attack. In fact, holding shift and swinging your weapon in the air while your cursor is on the mob will make your minions run that way too.

why MoM?
In your dominus kill video you had like 90 mana left - how does MoM help here if you have no mana for it to take from you when you get damage?

might try this out since I'm looking for a viable summoner build.

U should look at my more recent videos on my channel. With the cloak build. I have 550mana left over.

I was not using MoM in that dominus vid. I was in the testing phase(1.1.0 update playing around with build) when I was making that video, spamming regrets, making changes =P.

hey , may i ask what links should i use for cloak of defiance?
since its mainly dex and intel , its hard to roll reds and blues.. which i plan to use on my specters.
e: im using raise spec + added fire + inc duration + minion damage for now.

You don't have to use cloak of defiance to summon your spectres. Use tabula to summon 6L ones, and then put the RS gem into the same socket in your cloak of defiance. 1 color must be blue, the rest are up to gems you use.
