Desecrate did a flat 5% mob health drain, and was boostable by things such as CoD (nerfed) and still is currently boostable by Concentrated effect, remote mine, trap, minion damage, etc. Leer Cast was the icing on the cake by giving all your minions 15% Increased damage as well. It is possible to boost it to levels where it would kill bosses in mere seconds, until they nerf desecrate in 1.06.

But please, keep bringing your narrow minded negativity to this thread, it'll surly help with theorycrafting.

it should probably be you who needs to do research- the post in question merely addresses socket mapping issue (ie, right now you can map a 6L spectre to a 4L chest and it works flawlessly)

Thanksbi didn't knew about desecrated ground tought only consecrated was usefull. Will try it on lower guardian gem.

What do you think is best taking a perandus or dual ungils main gauche;) ?

I think animated weapon is a bit underpowered right now but i didnt do too many researchs. Maybe i take some spell totem to clear doinus run;)


I still dont know if sunbelt boost something but trap+remote mine still pretty effective. Gave another shot today and i think minion damage work best than minion health on my playstyle and BM. (The faster they kill the less damage they take)

3 activated BM seem to be the minimal to rival the past CoD damage level. I respeced with only 5 zombies (with summoner gear)at max and sometime i really find they get in the way and it work better with only 2 or 3.... but security always make me take 5

I also start to like Evangelist : for me they are my shavronne. I still don't havd decided if i will go dual midnight or not. Currently really find with 224hp..i only fear aoe chaos and from time to time dies miserably a miserable death by chaos totems. Sometime i see them, sometimes im too slow to hit my flask when i forgot to put. Rejuv.

One other i really like is the wander curser who also uses detonate dead from Lunaris (maybe mad experimenter i dont remember). I took one to tour for the fun with the default settings for BM and its IA seem good it survived many maps. I also could resist taking it to the fetid pool for a summoner contest.

I also droped hatred i dont think its as usefull for the BM than grace or haste. Zombies regrets thats choice..but i am their master and even if i sommon them with IIr for security i rarely use them for damage;)

Until i found an affordable/availlable 6L "wepting sword" or maybe and that s a big maybe a chobber chabber. My spectres dont have lifes issue for now and my lvs and pool of 72 maps are to thin to worry about their life. So the "royal stick" still retain my preference.

Im fine snapshoting only from tabula but im wondering if by some higher level zombies or guardian shouod needs better supports

I still have to see some tar spead. Maybe im uber lucky but i have to see it. Will probably keep the Matua Tupua until i get the Archon.



C1n you correct me : in think Anger may "synergize" well with eva or BM?




N.B. i like to call the bubble spectre eva (dunno if it is burned aristocrat or evangelist)but you know for me they go an ATField so as they dont look like angels they should be evas;)

The burning degen aura does not stack, the highest damage aura is the only one that damages a mob. So even with 3 BM spectres, you are still only doing about 1/4 of the unrighteous fire damage than you did with CoD.

Hatred is pretty useless for BMs, only their melee attacks would benefit and those attacks do pitiful damage.

Flat x-y elemental damage mods like Anger only apply to attacks, so totally useless on Evangelists since they do phys spell damage and near useless on BMs since their melee attacks do pitiful damage.

Umm.... he is talking about removing SUPPORT GEMS not moving a SKILL gem to another piece of gear!!

He is talking about SUMMONING a Spectre then adding in the support gems SO YOU CAN NOT MITIGATE THE HIGHER COST OF MORE SUPPORTS......

Isn't removing support gems also considered snapshotting if you don't change the skill gem anyways between items?

I listened to his podcast a couple of days ago, and when asked about snapshotting he said "Snapshotting is just a rule of the game" and they had no immediate plans on addressing it.

Can I still use CoD BM without a TR?
I tried using 2 4L chest to swap my RS gem in to summon CoD BM but the damage seems lower.
