Must say. Love this guide. Though I'm not following it word for word the advice has been amazing.

Only 78 right now but Piety has been made my bitch over and over. Next stop Dominus / Temple Piety.

So I was doing some more tests with Animate Guardian and........

Leer Casts DO stack lol.

I had 2 copies of the damage aura, and my tooltip DPS did change on Arctic Breath.

So in theory, if a full group wanted to, you could run 12 Copies of Leer Cast.

2 per player, 1 on the player and 1 on their animate guardian. Would end up totaling 180% Increased damage, with a penalty of 30% on the player (totals would be slightly higher for self only on players who had Inner Force and Holy Strength).

Seems like a significant damage bonus :D For me solo, that is 101.23% Increased damage after multipliers for BMs.

That was fast. And I noticed you don't even use purity of lightning on piety. EE seems to actually be a great assest for boss killspeed.

I'd like to get my hands on some Seething Hallowed Life Flasks of Animation, but I just can't get a hold of people who are selling it (through poe.xyz). Did you guys buy them or craft them yourself?

50/50 for me. But I would recommend buying, as both of needed mods a rare, so getting a combination is hard and will cost you 2-3 times more to craft than buy usually.

Nice vids Matt. That Temple Piety video made me laugh out loud. I didn't realize how truly core the instant flasks were until a couple days ago and now a couple of the fights I struggled with before (Jungle Valley, Temple Piety) aren't bad at all.

I'm curious if you can throw up a Torture Chamber boss video; I haven't been able to outrace the damage yet with the flasks, but I haven't gotten a really solid attempt either. Running into the same problem with the Academy Book Tornado Boss. I can kill him, but it takes like 10 mins of zerging him with crap (regular) zombies and skellies.

I'm kind of wondering what the balancing point is on some of these fights for damage vs defensive stats. I greedily use IIR and IIQ on my summons and it's probably why some fights are a little tougher since the "flask race" as I've now deemed it seems to be the efficient way to beat the tough bosses.

I'd love to find a sustainable route for the CoD zombies where a slip up or a lag jump isn't going to wipe my army and cost me a lot of time, (necro aegis, 3 defensive curses, life leech, minion resists etc?). On some maps I feel like I'd be better off 6 linking skeletons and just spamming them because more often than not I lose my good CoD zombies/BMs to the boss, especially on the rare occasion that I group.

Has anyone tried to get to the point where their zombies can somewhat effectively tank the tougher bosses, or is that just out of reach and the only way is to bum rush damage and win the race?

Well Moose65, thanks i got what i was looking for, since iam not using any minion gems on helm anymore due to tabula, i put gmp-blind-arctic breath-increased aoe.
Sounds overkill?, well it is, and i love it, everything gets chilled, and everything gets blinded, just what i was looking for.

I managed to make all mine. What I did was pick up everything flask and then Transmuted them. When I had a stockpile of Alts I would use them. If you get a Bubbling, Seething, or Animation with no other tag, throw an Augment on them.

Don't just go for Seething, I'd say Bubbling is just as good. I have both just in case. I like popping my Bubblings early in the fight when the regen > instant healing. I keep my seething for when one of my minions gets dangerously low.

Hmm... I was wondering if I could get some feedback.



This is what I'm currently running. The extra HP is nice but my real question is if Freezing Pulse is viable to use. I like the AoE and how I can chill/freeze things to help out my minions. Should I switch it off for Arc or another?

First of all i want to thank you as well for this thread that has helped me so much already !!
But i need to ask you how can i get lower than ONE life with righteous fire, i have spend hours now looking for it, but every time again i have to find a mob that is getting through my 2 3 4 5... Zombie wall to give me the 1 damage i need... Ty ty !!!
