What damage will you use for EE?
I can see the cold could come from Hatred aura, but can't seem to figure out where you'll get the other elemental damage from ? |

So in the never-ending search for ways to buff BM's Damage, I have found an interesting use for Animate Guardian.
You only need a 2~3 Link to make this optimal. Animate Guardian > Minion Life > Empower (optional, but I want as much HP as possible). Now, heres the rough part. You gotta be willing to part with about 4 Chaos worth of items. Leer Cast Zahndethus' Cassock Crest of Perandus Aurumvorax (Don't worry, unless your strolling through normal hes not landing any killing blows). Boots and Gloves are just any junk +Life ones you can find. What you get is a pretty nice Support unit. +15% Increased Damage Aura (Stretches about 1 Screens worth, perfect for Zombies/BMs) Consecrate (5% Life regen, Ground AoE, 10 Sec duration). Chance for it to proc is roughly 20% chance every time hes struck by a blockable attack (assuming I did my math right). Max Resists thanks to Aurumvorax + Purity. " Honestly, haven't done anything harder than Lunaris Piety with him (he's bootless/gloveless atm btw, so lots of missing HP). But, his bar didn't even move at all while fighting her. Weapon swap trick is perfectly fine, just means that if he DOES get that low hes probably out for the rest of the fight which is ok since you can just tp to town, go the the laboratory, and heal him up, or simply finish the boss without him. Hes probably not gonna honestly be that useful till some of the summoner mechanics get "toned" down anyways. Who needs anything else other than 1 BM and a few CoD zombies atm? |

hi matt, i finally got rid of some minion nodes in order to get all the aura nodes the build has, this left me with 3 montgruls and 4 normal zombies, i was wondering if changing my bones of ulr for somthing better would be good, as i care more about my big boys than the smaller ones, if so should i go with 2 BM's or 1 BM + evangelist? i run bm with increased aoe, i see you use windscream but apart form harder bosses i dont rlly need more than 2 curses (well i've been raising CoD BM since i lvlved couple days ago so i barely have time to cast even 1 curse xD) but i should start lvling again so what you think what combination would be better? bones or some nice boots? and what specter combo if i drop bones?

wouldnt remote mine better for BM dmg than increased minion life?

Hey
Just wanna give you mad props for this build. I started on nemesis with it after only playing softcore for about 2 days. Despite not knowing the game very well i got through it and I am now 84 and OWNING. Farming piety is easy as shit, i can do it in about 3 minutes per run(not including the ID-phase) and I am NEVER in danger. Especially the addition of MoM has worked wonders for me. Thanks! :) |

" Any chest. Put them in the same relative location. " I use arc + ee + fast cast. Hatred will not effect EE b/c am using a spell. So its -50fire/cold perfect for my fire and cold dmg minions. In case u did not know minions are unable to trigger EE. " Better for damage, yes. But minion survivability is just as important hence minion life.
