Any idea on how to 'fix' the Spectre to immediately cast their ability after entering a new area?

My BM took like ~10 to 20 sec to 'warm up' before they start casting UR at the enemies.

read man read. his "burning miscreants" do fire damage duh. and his zombies have hatred aura so do a crap load of cold.

Currently trying some stuff, seeing curses combos for better zombie surviviability,capped at all resistances and a solid 4.4k hp, there's alot of stuff i can upgrade,
Been trying increased duration/firestorm/blind so i can aoe blind stuff real fast and always keep it up, replaced arc with it, because i dont find arc worth using just for the 20% chance to eletrify, so firestorm also works for the minion targeting component i was using arc for.

Gotta try finding a better way to blind whole packs w/o replacing any gems on tabula when summoning zombies/spectres.

I Currently use Arctic Breath with Blind. I'm using the Chill debuff so my BMs get 40% Increased damage from dyadus and -50 fire resist from Elemental Equilibrium.

Rain of Fire would be inefficient, you can't proc the version of Elemental Equilibrium that you want with it. Currently I have Blind, Enfeeble, and Temporal Chains for survivability.

Fun Fact: Chill debuff and Temporal Chains stack.

If you feel you need shock stacks as well, summon an Arc Mage. I think they can still shock as well if not better than you, simply link them to Ele Prof, Lightning Penetration, Added Lightning damage, Remote Mine, and Trap. Now your Arctic Breath is significantly boosting your BMs damage AND boosting your Arc Mage's shocking potential.
Does Cast on Death quality bonus (increased area) apply to Zombie melee splash, Grasp explosion etc?
does sunblast belt also increase BM dmg?

not sure if this helps, but certainly there are situations where the minions die after swapping chests

In my case I wanted to 6L CoD spectres (tabula) and 5L CoD zombies
Only way I found to make it happen was:

1. Raise spectre with RS gem in slot #1 in tabula

1 - 2
     |
3 - 4
|
5 - 6

2. Equip inverted 5L, raise zombie with RZ gem in slot #6, keep spectre in slot #1

1   2
     |
3 - 4
|
5 - 6

3. Equip 'main chest' (a regular 5L in my case), keeping spectre and zombie gems at the same spots

1 - 2
     |
3 - 4
|
5   6
