Path of Exile 0.11.0

I'm ready for this anarchy league.
Hmmm...
This is great!
Can we have the old HC skull/eyepatch icon back if we agree to play in a low light radius league?
Wow, really huge patch. Great job guys! And THANK YOU of course :)

Overall this seems to reduce diversity and promote cookie-cutter builds.

Actually, this will open up a lot more build options. Right now, you need a lot of life nodes to have a viable end-game build, and since a lot of the life nodes are clustered in certain areas, it really hamstrings where you can go in your tree.

But evasion, armour, and resistance nodes are much more spread out over the entire tree, hence you can branch out into areas you couldn't have before and still have a viable build.

That's idea at least. It may just wind up that armour takes the place of life, and you have to centre your tree around getting as many armour nodes as possible. Hopefully GGG will get the right balance.

Did I read correctly that Standard League is the parent league for Anarchy League?

Death in Hardcore goes to Standard.
Death in Onslaught goes to Standard.
At the end of Anarchy, chars move to Standard.
At the end of Onslaught, chars move to Hardcore.

So Anarchy is a new non-hardcore league. Onslaught is a new hardcore league. It's important that dead Onslaught chars don't appear in Anarchy (reasons are in the article).

First let me say, this patch looks FANTASTIC!

however, what is the reasoning behind

At the end of Anarchy, chars move to Standard.
At the end of Onslaught, chars move to Hardcore.

I am very interested in the Anarchy league concept but have no interest in it if the character is moved to standard at the end of the league. If both Anarchy and Onslaught moved to HC, the standard players could then send their players to the standard league and HC players could partake in the awesome idea that is the Anarchy league.

What is the reasoning behind this? Are the anarchy exclusive items OP for HC?

You have a full respec to lower your dps output to something sustainable and increasing your defense.

it might be because they want to make a long term race interesting for sc players as well. but I get your point. I would suggest that they should make it that if your character never died after the 4 months it should be moved to HC / but then there will be some issues with stash..
