...and still no improvements for solo players in the endgame :(

I think GGG doesnt like ppl solo, that's why they give better drop rate in party and monster only scale up 50% dmg and hp in party.
DAT ORGASM I JUST HAD
I'm in an abusive relationship with life. It keeps beating the hell out of me and I'm too cowardly to leave it.

Don't know if this has been answered, but it sounds like physical damage will go up but life will go down. Is reflect reduced aswell then, otherwise it's a bad change for hardcore.

Well they're saying all monster damage is being nerfed, so I believe that will include the percentage of damage you take from reflect mobs. Guess we'll have to wait for the patch notes to be sure.
Yeah, it happened...

No this is actually a pretty big nerf to Koam's (depending on how much health is reduced by).

The reason Koam's is so powerful is that the 1000 health gets multiplied by all your passive life nodes; hence, a nerf to life nodes is a nerf to Koam's, especially since it only has about 600 armour max, and armour/evasion is now apparently much more important for defense.

I might even go so far as to say Koam's may be obsolete, of course it's too early to tell without knowing how much health is nerfed and how much armour is buffed.

Good analysis

The only issue with such analysis is it fails to consider regen rates (including leech rates), value for blood magic builds, etc.. I mean, it's still going to be pretty powerful for any build that chooses to go for mass HP node stacking, but I can definitely see where its across-the-board value will take a hit.

But they reduced monster damage AND increased physical damage therefore decreasing the damage taken (compensates for lesser overall life pool) and increases life leech (due to increased damage).

Blood Magic certainly does take a hit BUT with a Kaoms you'll be able to have More auras because of the increase to life thereby increasing its value.
Pacific (GMT -8) Time
Nice patch! Really looking forward to this one.
