" Yes, obviously the percentage change over your base health is no different (unless base health changes). The nerf is in the increase of HP: in the first set you increase by 3600 hp, in the second only 2250. Also you're missing the most important thing: that if life nodes only increase life by 4%, they'll be half as valuable vs. armour, evasion and resistance nodes. And if armour and evasion are buffed, than it's even less than half. Hence you will be wise to take fewer life nodes and more armour, evasion and resistance nodes, further nerfing Koam's value. |

Eternal oarb solves another problem for me -- can divine my wand a big +%phys mod and a little +%phys/accuracy mod where I am unsure which exact prefix category the big %phys mod is in

I'm worried about ES/ER based builds. If life and ES values are decreased, as well as incoming damage, then armor based builds end up taking a lot less damage than before (because of the way damage reduction works). ES/ER based builds lose viability compared to armor based builds.
I'm also worried about reflect. Reduction to life and ES makes reflect of any kind more deadly. Reflect is already so build-limiting and for many players the biggest risk in end game. This change will make it even more deadly. Overall this seems to reduce diversity and promote cookie-cutter builds. |

Don't know if this has been answered, but it sounds like physical damage will go up but life will go down. Is reflect reduced aswell then, otherwise it's a bad change for hardcore.

make no differnece or insignificant//////////////// the physical reduction formula is armor/(armor+ 12*dmg), this what GGG is trying to do to reduce the dmg, increase armor has no effect as the divisor armoe also ups.
The root of the problem is not this algo or reflected, it's the desync/lag that GGG doesnt have a fix which forces GGG to do this quick fix. Last edited by OFasO#4674 on May 31, 2013, 3:25:54 PM
