Ok GGG, quick suggestion to get rid of the "I'm a hardcore player and I wanna play Anarchy" issue:

If at the end of Anarchy, character death count = 0, then character is moved to Hardcore instead of Standard.

I think this is fair idea, though I'm not sure how much work it would take to make it happen.
Scrolling combat text :(???

I can take just life-bars though.

<3 this patch. I may be a GGG fanboy, but they earned my fanboyism by actually being good devs.

No this is actually a pretty big nerf to Koam's (depending on how much health is reduced by).

The reason Koam's is so powerful is that the 1000 health gets multiplied by all your passive life nodes; hence, a nerf to life nodes is a nerf to Koam's, especially since it only has about 600 armour max, and armour/evasion is now apparently much more important for defense.

I might even go so far as to say Koam's may be obsolete, of course it's too early to tell without knowing how much health is nerfed and how much armour is buffed.

Good analysis
In Wraeclast, if someone tries to kill you... you just kill them right back.
Just like many have said before the anarchy leagues sounds so much more interesting than the onslaught league , really should be a hc option.

This isn't a nerf or a buff to Kaom's.

Let's say your base HP without Kaom's is 1600, and with Kaom's it's 2500.

Tossing a number here, let's say life nodes get halved (4% instead of 8% etc). So you get +150% life instead of +300% life after the change.

1600*(1+3)=6400
2500*(1+3)=10000

In this case Kaom's gives you 56% more HP

1600*(1+1.5)=4000
2500*(1+1.5)=6250

In this case Kaom's gives you 56% more HP, same as above.
Eternal is essentially an option for the crafter in math term. It gives the ability to go back to last best known outcome w/o subject yourself to the randomness. If your next roll is better you use eternal to save it, if the nest roll is worser, you use eternal to get back to the last setting --- essentially you will not roll a worser roll. Given that, it will cost alot less to roll....effectively reduced the probability of fusing and ex of the last 2 stats. Man the implcation is it will crash the value of 6Ls and good roll items.

Chancing is one off event, so probably wont be affected.

I dislike GGG doing this, they essentailly buff the drops rate - easier to craft. Everytime they buff that, item will flood the market, if a unique is not a unique anymore, ppl loss interest to farm and trade, that's when the game die like diablo.

In general, this patch is 50/50, it solves the ninja issue. The buff on melee and CI (yes CI is a buff as mobs dealing much less physical which is always the #1 death for CI), however is just after the fact fix, the fact here is desync/lag.

And they need to redevelop the dmg reduction formula, 12*dmg on the divisor is way too much, it renders melee useless as they mainly deal physical, as matter of fact, they should apply the same to elemental to the fairness.

Good analysis

The only issue with such analysis is it fails to consider regen rates (including leech rates), value for blood magic builds, etc.. I mean, it's still going to be pretty powerful for any build that chooses to go for mass HP node stacking, but I can definitely see where its across-the-board value will take a hit.

it's a buff for Koam............they nerf HP.....in end-game, HP is the king above all.....as we all know.
