Path of Exile 0.11.0
" Oh, that. Well, yeah, in a way. But that is one part of the patch which addressed an issue. The rest of the patch has nothing at all to do with that, I mean it wasn't a 'theme' to be continued with/respected by.. everything else in the patch. Casually casual.

" Yeah, you are right, I expressed myself in a hyperbolic manner. The party buffs were mainly a part, not a focus. This message was delivered by GGG defence force.

" Yup...I've played other games that do not have such an entropy system and have never had any problems with high evasion characters. Now, perhaps with the upcoming changes the entropy system will work a bit better, but then again it might not and evasion may not be the best way to go unless it's Iron Reflexes for bow users that cannot equip a shield and reap the benefits from it. Even excluding ranged characters the entropy system hurts melee as well for survival (DW especially), which is also something I've played a lot of in other games. I know you were trying to be snarky but please keep it off for the discussion as I have been quite civil and don't need you being that way. If you have a problem with what I am saying then please argue against it in a constructive manner instead of a useless one-liner...it actually helps foster further discussion between people believe it or not. :) |

" The idea is that you are out of fusings though. You read the example given, right? If you spent 1500 fusings on your 5L to try to make it a 6L but it ended up as a 3x2L, it's possible your character just became severely underpowered until you can get something to link your skills up again. The example given was that the character is now "unplayable". So your point of "getting back" to 5L and still having a chance at 6L again means you would be out fighting and gaining more Fusings. Your assumption is that you could still go farm on the character after messing up your 5L. That is not always the case and that's where the Eternal Orb can help. One example that wasn't given by Chris that I think could be nice (but expensive probably) would be to Imprint a piece of gear that is missing 1 or 2 mods and then exalt them to try to get the mod you want. This way you don't get stuck with an undesirable mod and you don't have to Scour the item to start over (not that you would usually do that anyway). So the Eternal Orb would let you min/max an item as much as you want if you chose to do that. |____________ G . L . O . W . Y . R . M ____________|
