Holy crap, everything about this patch is awesome. I'm really looking forward to testing out the new balance between monster damage, player hp, and armor/evasion/ES. Everything else about this patch is great, too, but that's the part that's gonna draw me back to the game big time.

That's mostly good changes but the new orb doesn't help the fusing to 6 links process the slightest. One eternal orb gonna probably cost more than what you would spend in fusings to get back to 5L, so it's just an extra insurance cost. It's not tomorrow yet I will try to 6L my 5L.
It's a good idea for exalting items though.
I am hoping they had enough foresight to make Eternal Orb common enough to make 5-linking a bit more expensive than the eternal orb.
5-Linking takes like 5-6 Exalts worth of Fusings on average though. I expect Eternal orb to be around Divine Orb value, if not 1-2x an Exalt.
There is still the possibility to roll a 6L while you try to get back to your 5L though, so this "eternal orb to save links" idea still seems pretty bad to me. In the linking situation using an eternal orb to get back to your starting point is always a net loss.

The 'entropy system' for evasion (which I absolutely detest) was used to attempt to make it more stable and less RNG dependent actually ended up hurting more than helping...IMHO.
Why do you say that? I love the entropy system, it makes Evasion viable and not suck. How could it be a bad thing? It makes it less RNG and more reliable. And when combined with separate evasion-type mechanics like Block and Dodge, the entropy becomes even more significant in evading incominb damage..
It might work ok when you have a shield, but what about a bow user that doesn't have access to a shield? Take away your shield and play without that block chance and everything else that comes with a shield and it's a BIG difference. What ends up happening from my experience is that if you're getting hit/shot at from multiple sources (and lets face it, this does happen fairly often especially at higher levels) then it's far more likely that the smaller hits will 'eat up' your evasion dodges and then the larger hits are guaranteed to land and either kill you, or severely damage you. The only thing I've found it 'more reliable' is that it's killed me more often than not, which is why I've gone the Iron Reflexes route ever since...lesser of two evils in this case for me.
So you played the game without the entropy system? Because you seem so sure that you would die less without the system.

now, 4 leagues with just 4 stash tabs and a max of 24 player slots... u cant be in the same conditions than someone with 40 stash tabs FOR EVERY SINGLE LEAGUE! pay to win, in the next 4 months more than ever.
It's not pay to win at all. You know Helman? Number 2 on the season ladder and multiple high level HC characters, he has 4 stash tabs. If he can do it then so can you. Yeah multiple stash tabs are really nice, but you can still play the game just fine with 4, you just cant save as much gear.
I hate players like you that don't pay a penny to support GGG but then bitch and moan on every content patch thread.

Love it all (except for monster damage nerf.)
Why? Everything was tuned down proportionately.
It has the side affect of making armor and evasion more powerful. Armor won't get "crushed" by giant hits being rendered useless and you don't have to be afraid of evasion since if you get hit it shouldn't be a one shot.
I assume elemental damage was reduced a bit also to compensate for the player life reduction.
