Item Allocation Options
A party leader can choose from the following item allocation modes for his party in 0.11.0:
Free for All: Items are not allocated to players and can be picked up immediately.
Short Allocation: The exact system we have at the moment. Valuable items allocate to a random nearby player for a short duration. There is a small bonus if you're far away from the item.
Permanent Allocation: Valuable items allocate to a random nearby player.
It says there will be a small bonus for you,
dose this mean if an item drops for you but are not close you get a bonus
dose the bonus stack?
What is the bonus, Is it added ir on loot of your own ?

I think they are refering to the current system where if you are far away, you get extra time on you to run to the item before the timer runs out.

Exactly that...they are not changing anything with this bonus, and all it is is some additional time added to the timer of your allocated drop based on distance

All awesome changes except for the achievement system IMO. I hated when Bliz added achievements in WoW and will try to ignore this one as well. It always feel like the list of chores that my wife gives me or my task list at work.

GGG, why are you fixing everything in the game at once? You're literally fixing every issue. WTF?
Look at it from my perspective. I come onto these forums with a quota of complaining I need to do. A QUOTA.
WTF WILL I COMPLAIN ABOUT NOW?
I'm just, so mad. I don't even know what to do.

All changes are good except they need to modify the M2M.
Just white maps thats retarded.
M2M needs to be White,Blue and Rare Maps.
Unique maps should follow the normal loot system.
Just my opinion though.
Over all good changes, just disappointed in just letting white maps be m2m.

Several areas of the game have been significantly rebalanced. We've reduced all monster damage and have made corresponding reductions to player Life and Energy Shield passive skills. Physical damage nodes (both general and weapon-specific) have been substantially increased. As a result of these changes, characters rely less on life than they did previously. Defensive options such as armour are substantially stronger now, more than offsetting the lower life totals.
What I deduce from this:.
-ES Nerf
-HP Nerf
-Armor Buff
Bottom line:
-Melee CI characters even less viable now
Or am I understanding this wrong?
