" Great disadvantage? If your total gametime is 200 hours, how many hours do you think are saved by buying many stashes instead of using multi-client for trading between alts? Max 4 hours? That would be such a negligible advantage that noone in their right mind would call it pay to win. This message was delivered by GGG defence force.

Color me as fearful of the changes to ES and Evasion.
Could we get an updated Passive Tree on the site here that we can start working out builds with before the patch goes live? It would do a lot to know what it is I have to do with 90+ skill points on my summoner, and the growing number on my Ranger. |

what about the quest rewards?
Have we a reset too or will they change. I mean I chose the 12% physical damage but now its more useless then even before. IGN : Beendixx

" It might work ok when you have a shield, but what about a bow user that doesn't have access to a shield? Take away your shield and play without that block chance and everything else that comes with a shield and it's a BIG difference. What ends up happening from my experience is that if you're getting hit/shot at from multiple sources (and lets face it, this does happen fairly often especially at higher levels) then it's far more likely that the smaller hits will 'eat up' your evasion dodges and then the larger hits are guaranteed to land and either kill you, or severely damage you. The only thing I've found it 'more reliable' is that it's killed me more often than not, which is why I've gone the Iron Reflexes route ever since...lesser of two evils in this case for me. Every single challenge has to be done during a single Anarchy/Onslaught ladder? I have a huge bone (teehee) to pick with that. Hear me out, I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
Why not create some challenges that are purely based on skill. Maybe have a challenge where you clear a map WITHOUT something, like without any gear that has +life, or each skill can only have 1 support gem attached (or 0 support gems). Restrictions like this make tasks difficult and can present challenge without the person having to quit his or her job to play enough to gather 90 freakin' uniques or leveling 6 characters to 60 (that's PURE time investment). Maybe I'm underestimating what can be done in 4 months and I know that the goal was to make them extremely difficult, but they seem difficult based mostly on time invested and not on skill. This is a hardcore game, I get that (and like it), but I always thought the meat of the hardcore came from knowledge and skill. There are some time investments that are hardcore, like lvl 100, but they can be done at one's own pace. I have a job, 45 hours per week. I might be able to play for 2-3 hours after work and then I would have to dedicate my entire weekend (10 hours or so each day) just to maybe even have the smallest chance at completing some of those challenges. If your intent was to make these challenges doable only by people who can play the game as much as people work, then OK, but if you were really just looking to CHALLENGE people, how about stuff where time isn't the BIGGEST factor and instead rely on the players skill and knowledge? Killing bosses naked? Full clear X world map without using a flask or portal scroll? You guys surely could come up with similar and better stuff than me, and this type of stuff can be done by anyone willing to practice or out think the challenge AND can probably be brute forced through time invested (getting crazy gear and high level then going back to do these things). I feel no one is left out this way. |____________ G . L . O . W . Y . R . Love it all (except for monster damage nerf.)
Just wondering if anyone has any info on the rarity of Eternal Orbs. Will it be about that of an exalt? Between an exalt and mirror? Sorry if this was already hit on, but I don't have time to read all the replies. :) |

Spoiler
Item Allocation Options
A party leader can choose from the following item allocation modes for his party in 0.11.0: Free for All: Items are not allocated to players and can be picked up immediately. Short Allocation: The exact system we have at the moment. Valuable items allocate to a random nearby player for a short duration. There is a small bonus if you're far away from the item. Permanent Allocation: Valuable items allocate to a random nearby player. Allocated items are still visible to everyone, but greyed out. Valuable items are the ones that currently get allocated to players - Rare items, Unique items, Currency, Gems and Maps. We've also added items with four, five or six linked sockets to the valuable items list. Base types of the level of your world area or higher are also allocated. This only applies to level 60+ world areas. The item allocation mode takes effect when an area is spawned. We wanted to avoid abuse cases where the party leader can change the allocation mode while their party is currently in an area. If you accidentally create an area with the wrong allocation settings, just make another. A frequently requested change is a "Map to Maker" system. Traditionally, players who want to play Maps with strangers run the risk of having the Map drops grabbed by people who didn't pay the cost to create the area. In 0.11.0, white Maps allocate to the creator of the Map for all types of parties. This will mean that it's safer to allow friends or strangers into an area that you have spent a Map or currency on. Magic/Rare/Unique maps follow the normal loot allocation rules so it's still possible to find Maps if you are playing in someone else's area. In all cases, items de-allocate if the allocated player leaves the area or if five minutes pass. The text within spoiler is taken from the announcement and explains why partying is far more attractive after the patch. This message was delivered by GGG defence force.
