Very disappointed that you gave in for the casuals. Very, very disappointed.
Won't be playing for a week now to boycott this decision.

Grow up and stop acting like an elitist kid

Did I ever say there should be no penalty?

You despise the current penalty, so what else is there?

The game cant punish you by implementing repair costs, neither can it just make currency vanish from your stash. So the only way it can punish you efficiently is by taking a chunk of your exp. And if you ask me 15% seems appropriate.

Maker
- chips in map
- rolls it with currency

Leecher
- does nothing except for being there and doing something 100 other people would be willing to do
- easily exchangable

You as a leecher already get currency, item drops and exp from not investing a single dime. What makes you think youre entitled to get the maps as well?

Well, that's my point.

It seems appropriate to someone who doesn't play in the league, doesn't endure it and hasn't even had a character close to the level where that 15% can be literally days of playing the highest content feasibly available. Whether it was carelessness, desync, DC, PC crash or gateway crash.

What exactly are you going on to deem 15% appropriate?
Why not 30%, 50%, 10 lvls, 1%?

If you have some reason to back up why you think 15% is appropriate, then you might have an argument, I might even agree. As it is, you are speaking about something you have no experience of.
Casually casual.

Great news! I'll spread the word since many people hate FFA.

Now, make sure we can filter the loot option when browsing a game. For example, I want to see game that has the Permanent Allocation option only.

1 out of 3 requests done, next is death penalty redesign (to be less frustrating) and the return of MoC (or something similar that go deep with random level (some kind of endless dungeon that is lower tier than maps)).

You fuck up, your get punished. The death penalty is fine, nothing more to say. You deserve losing a big chunk of your exp when you die, its also to promote you rerolling a new character.

There are other ways to punish death than make your last play session completely meaningless.

Just because a few hardcore players like it the way it is doesn't mean everyone does. In fact, I'd go as far as to say the majority actually dislikes such severe XP penalty because it serves no real purpose other than lost time and in a world where time management has become so important, most people will not reroll if they get too frustrated, they will just simply quit the game, period.
Built in M2M is the best change in there... IMO. I have been hesitant to provide my maps for public groups after a few people didn't follow M2M loot rules. While a all maps to maker options would be preferred, white maps to maker is a good start.

And what would those be? Because from what I can see noone of you actually provides ideas. You simply say "I dont like it, remove it".
