Australian Test Gateway Feedback (Updated)

Seems good at my end. Halves my ping in town to a lovely 150ms average. Ty GGG.

I may have spoken too soon with my previous post. After running a quick Crypts map solo I have found that it is rather spiky. Not so much in my Ping but in the bandwidth. for exampl I would attack a large group of monsters who would not move at all then 1-2 seconds later they would all explode as the server caught up. Probably not safe for high level maps in Hardcore..

Experiencing the same here. Everything would just pause for about a second, and then the action fast forwards to catch up. This would happen consistently every minute, but otherwise I'm sitting at 70-95ms (a nice drop from 250+ms)

Nonetheless it's a welcome addition and something rarely seen even with larger companies. Cheers guys.
okay, so after further playing I can report better on my findings, latencywise very impressive, however the game seems to have frequent hickups where everything hangs but latency and framerate don't change at all so I think something's happening on the server's side. It can get very bad and frequent at times, seems to have gotten worse as the day has progressed. when not hickupping plays smoothly though
Really happy with how its working in Auckland, New Zealand. Floating between 60-150 ping but that's probably because I'm on a wireless connection. I think Hardcore is actually viable now for me as a NZ player, previously I'd just lag out and die to something stupid.
WinMTR stats for AU gateway.
You can see how occasional huge latency spikes drive the average up by about 60%.

Getting a solid 32 ms from Melbourne. Occasional spikes upto about 150ms but I'm sure these will be ironed out in time. Thanks very much for these servers. Makes gameplay much much smoother.
i cant connect at all?

50ms average from Wellington NZ, on Telecom's VDSL trial.

Sure as hell beats 250-300!
I'm in Newcastle Austalia and overall things seem to be run smoother, latency low 30's, faster actions from clicking etc but i too am experiencing constant spikes like those above, almost got me killed a few times. Once that's stabilized should be very good.
