There's something called feedback, which is what I left. What you responded with is the typical white knight everything is fine response that contributes nothing. I am already on a break from the game, because they haven't updated it in 3 months. Now it won't be updated for 4 months because they prioritized the PoE1 event and don't want 0.2.0 to compete with that. I used to be positive, but it's hard to stay positive when GGG fumbles this hard over and over.

Who are these races for?

if races are for everyone, then rewards need to be more universal. participation, reaching certain checkpoints. you did this before with mtx.




if races are meant to be publicity, and just streamers/winners, then it needs to be treated like an esport. have a stream that monitors the top racers, has live commentary by mathil, ziz, or ziggy, jonathan, or whoever might be good at it. a 2man, dev+gamer commentary is usually pretty good.

like how super metroid speed races are done.

have an "untelevised" qualifier open race. everyone participates. top 10 winners get contacted, organized to ensure they can stream. then do the 10 man championship races "televised".

this seems like a no brainer... no dev resources required, +publicity on youtube/twitch, far less animosity for the regular gamers for not having a chance.

What happened to top 5 of each ascendancy? At least there was a shot at winning for the overall audience. That's a big step back in my opinion.

LOL!! All the things we the majority totally love about POE,

1) Running though the campaign AGAIN! and AGAIN! and AGAIN!

2) Speed running based on RNG and drop rates that equate to FA unless streamer inspired +1000% rarity/quantity.

3) Running though 1990's procedurally generated mazes that should be AI generated in 2025. Quite literally 1 page of coding for the last 35 years. It was dated in the mid 90's.

4) SSF is an RNG nightmare, those with the best RNG.......

Call it what it is, a literal rat maze for muppets who think a "digital prize" is worth more than zero. Not only is this "prize" only available to 18 people out of a possible 800k, the most important thing is it cost GGG absolutely nothing. It is an existing asset. A unique that wouldn't show on your loot filter, just saying.

If you are in the running for the "alienware" laptop, you have more chance of beating GOD in a "don't give a fk competition". You have more chance of getting your sock pregnant. At the last minute a convenient account with 6 hours played will snipe it at the last minute.

One positive, you don't have to deal with trade chat. :D

Then look again how much are worth demigod items in PoE 1.

You have no idea what you talk about or is just too slaty becasue you have no chance to win one.

Also racing is not about RNG, even with best possible drops you would lose to top racers with bad drops.
