State of Early Access Update

Crashes still occur where game just freezes and then errors either with a DX12 error or POE has stopped warning.

This has been the biggest issue by far.
This is one of the most tone deaf pointless self-patting on the back lawyer speech riddled garbage post i ever read. It reads like something Nu-Blizzard would write.
It tells me that the whole load of feedback was either intentionally ignored or approached wrong, and devs are not on the same page as the players.
It tells me the devs are not only not ready to ship the changes, they are certainly going to do it all wrong.
Which means the game will be in a sorry state for far longer than expected if not forever.
What a bummer. After 2 months of nothing, this is definitely NOT the update players have waited for.
Its certainly not EA, you treat it like released game (btw no longer F2P), and let me tell you this - PoE2 is one of the WORST ARPGs i ever played (and i played a lot of them in 20 years). Its a shame.

We did attempt to address some of the more overpowered player skills, but backed off somewhat in order to prevent breaking peoples characters. We initially thought that there would be more tolerance for this kind of thing during Early Access, but we were incorrect! We will save changes like this for larger balance updates.


You are gaslighting here. You barely scratched the tip of the meta iceberg with those nerfs and you didnt offer the meaningful buffs to the massive pool of the weak skills/passives/uniques/defensives/stats, leaving players with the same HoI+HoT/DD/Archmage meta. You did essentially nothing to adress the massive balancing issues and THAT was the reason for the players' backlash, not the nerfs themselves. You are either intentionally twisting the reality to justify no job being done at balancing things across these 2 months or are incompetent at simple analysis. In any case, it doesnt do you a favor.

From what I see, they're triggering an AVX extension overrun. You can more regularly trigger this by tabbing out a lot. Vulkan and windowed full screen and disabling AVX seem to reduce or eliminate this. They'll eventually just keep patching around the issue like they did when it was a problem in Harvest league.

Not enough character build options
The biggest problem of poe2, for me, is cannibalize poe1...

I start playing poe1 last year and, after become addicted to it, you people cause a lot of stress in the community of poe1.

I don't like it.

Poe2 is a nice game, but after 150 h I get some walls that stop me to have fun...

Poe1 get from me >1000 h of playing time and for each wall I get a lot of windows and doors and cracks to have fun and explore!

Heck, I use more pob than Excel in my work! (don't tell to my boss)

Summarizing, I hate poe2 because it hurts poe1 at moment.

PS: Settlers of Kalgur is the only league that I played...

When MTX from Poe1 comes to Poe2? We want them back :(
'Transparency'? Zero mention that some of the nerfs were due to server infrastructure unable to handle the computation, and not directly because of 'skill to strong'.
