State of Early Access Update

Grim Feast can stay with some changes to how ES works. Let GF temporarily increase a player's max ES, but have their current intact ES remain at its same number if the recharge delay is still in effect. If the delay has already passed, then picking up a remnant will increase both max ES and the current value of their intact shield. Additionally, make DoT of any kind prevent the max ES value from increasing, regardless of delay. Also debug Bleed. GGG admitted its meant to counter ES/caster builds by ignoring ES entirely but they simply haven't gotten around to fixing that yet.

Why cant you buff weak skills, passives, mechanics? Would it hurt the game or even hurt the meta? Doubt it.
Are you just lazy?
I see no point in balancing classes when most skills/ascendancies/classes/weapons are not out. Work on quality of life aspects....like idk waystone tab? auto sort item button for stash and inventory? crash issues? fps drops? proper map designs? Auction house instead of trade site ect...

Fixing any class aside from bug abuse is pointless. Release more content, do a reset, fix bugs, release some quality of life update, release more content, do a reset, fix bugs, release some quality of life.. repeat until all content is out its been 6-8 months THEN work on balancing classes.

Fixing 1 dented fan blade when 3 more are missing wont fix the fan.

If you need a pat on the back GGG, just ignore everything except your PoE2 subreddit and you'll be golden.

Only relevant information you've given here is four bullet points at the end, which while not wrong, are really a shallow analysis from what is supposed to be a developer standpoint into what you want this game to be. Those bullet points should be short term EA goals, at best.

Maybe take a step back with announcements of announcements of nothing particulary pivotal, and hold your tongue in interviews if a word "soon" comes to your mind. If 0.2.0 is indeed being worked on (for at least a month now) and you want to push it asap for players to test as you've said, you could easily generate real hype by giving any tidbit of real insight into 0.2.0.

As far as I'm concerned, game is being updated on a glacial pace for such a big crew, and ALL of the changes so far have been trivial in grand scope of things.
Probably biggest resource dump so far was creating different 5 tower maps, and most of people still rush T1 as they can't be juiced. That could easily be the end of EA cycle update and probably no one would mind much. Just straighten up your priorities and have half an ear on pulse of your community.

Self glaze post that ended with we're working on the game. Nice.
Fix your bosses cuz they are not fun to play when they hit you 1 time and die in story
Sorry guys... I think I remember you said that the endgame would have 100 different layouts/maps. Am I stupid or we have a dozen, right now?

I love PoE1. I wanted to love Poe2 so badly but guys... you scammed us. You lied, saying we were going to pay now and have a full game in 6-12 months when it's clear it's not going to happen. The ridiculous (but not unexpected) thing is that it would be understandable if a small studio making their first game tries a little money-grab to carry on. Now you are part of Tencent, you don't need to scam people to get money. But yet, you are not even free to do what you want and since the fiscal year was closing, Tencent needed a nice boost in their numbers, so you were forced to launch it. I feel sorry for you but I feel more sorry for myself, because in the end you get paid to do what you do and you get paid with my money.

The reason why I jumped into PoE2 spending €100 on it (after spending something like €200 on PoE1) is that in the last year (that's when I started playing PoE1) I read everywhere on the Internet that you guys were trustworthy. I suppose the key word, here, is "WERE".

Please fix the optimalization with steam deck. Right now we have 10-20 FPS in late game... Steam deck is able to handle more demanding games. Thanks!

Man, I have 20FPS with a 12-core and a 4070. You want it to run smoothly on a Steam Deck? LMAO
Is nobody from GGG gonna step forward and take responsibility for how poorly the game is optimized? The sheer toll it takes on CPU's for no reason, just shows you took the PoE1 engine and copy/pasted it into PoE2.

This is the only game where my CPU reaches 85c while gaming.

We have 2 endgame map layouts: fun and not fun. And the not fun make up the vast majority.

I don't understand this post talking about things they've done as if they are something to brag about. Most of the patches have been bandaids on symptoms instead of addressing the problems.

The final bullet points outlining "major issues" doesn't even touch on the real problems. More fun things to find in the endgame? I honestly don't get it. They definitely aren't listening to player feedback if they think they need to tweak current builds and make zero mention of the current imbalance with bosses. Those builds are the only thing making the game tolerable because they blow away bosses in seconds before the boss one-shots you through some BS poorly-telegraphed mechanic or non-stop screen attacks.

If this post is an indication of what is coming in 0.2.0 then we are in for a rough time. I haven't logged in for over a week. Looking like that might become months or never.
