The real problem here is that GGG made a new POE and didn't include a in-game market or something. how many polemics already happened around this silly trade through site situation??
why making it so difficult on us? is not a lack of being able to do it, is not a lack of knowledge or skill from GGG, if they want they can introduce a market in-game. so... why not? its ridiculous. there will always be ways to scam players, mostly new players. Not all players are smart.. not all players are adults.. and that's ok. Above everything the game to be successful needs players, all kind of players. Lots and lots of new players please, so the game can progress and succeed. So... GGG just make it easier for us pls. |

" lol okay buddy. I challenged you already in my previous post: short of doing the trade for you, what ELSE could they add? They already have protections for when you search for a trade, initiate an in-game trade, see the in-game trade item screen, confirm the trade item is correct, and then confirm the overall trade. All of which has ZERO TIME LIMIT, ensuring that you can spend as much or as little time as YOU CHOOSE to confirm everything as the buyer. What ELSE in that process needs a fail-safe? An "are you sure?" message after all of that? Followed by an "are you ABSOLUTELY sure??" message after that one? Do they need to physically reach out of the screen and hold your hand while you accept the trade that YOU confirmed? Take your own advice. " Do you blame people for being assaulted and robbed too? [Removed by Support] It's no ones fault when they get scammed but GGG. GGG could and should permanently ban anyone that engages in scamming. They should also implement a proper auction house which could avoid this entirely. Last edited by Vinky_GGG#0000 on Feb 13, 2025, 8:18:03 PM

" Simply not true. A proper modern ARPG will have an auction house to prevent such nonsense. Plus, anyone that scams should be permabanned if you have proof. GGG is awful at enforcing this. |

How did he scam you when you hit accept on the trade after hovering over the item and looking at it

" whoa whoa whoa.......so now you are equating accepting a trade to being assaulted and robbed? You're joking right? This can't be a legitimate post. The trade situation is more like leaving $20 on a bench and being upset when you come back an hour later and its gone. You are in total control of your trade the entire time. Getting assaulted or robbed is entirely OUT of your control. Literally the exact opposite scenario. Except if you, you know, are walking in the dangerous part of town in the middle of the night flashing expensive jewelry and money, all while knowing that muggings and assaults happen there regularly. Then....yea its at least partially your fault even in that scenario. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Feb 13, 2025, 8:31:29 PM

" OH absolutely. Except for...you know....the majority of the existing modern arpgs (across the last decade) that don't. So much "wrong" wrapped in the span of two posts. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Feb 13, 2025, 9:06:06 PM

" Potentially. If you put your credit card info on the Internet yeah I would blame you for that. GGG can barely put out content. Somehow they have to judge trade accusations? |
