Bow skills damage conversion

Ice shot converts 70% of physical damage to cold damage. Similar lightning skills also do not convert 100% of physical damage.

If I am doing an all elemental build and there are no bow items with only all elemental damage, why do I always have to convert to elemental damage at a loss?
(loss in profit, because I don't need any physical damage in my build)

Where is the logic here?

there is no loss, you are just converting %, nothing is lost

You clearly don't understand me. I am building an elemental bow build. I don't need any physical damage. But no bow skill converts physical damage by 100%.
oh i do get it, i'm just pointing out you are not actually losing anything

I feel kind of stupid to explain this, to a human being.
But hear me out:

if you have 100 physical damage.
And you convert 50% of it to lightning.

Spoiler alert:
Spoiler
You still going to do 100 damage.

Ok, let's say you're right. Let's say there's a loss from the profit :) Are you happy now?

I don't understand if you have a problem with your intelligence, sorry.
Yes, it is true that I chose the word "loss" when making a definition. So why did I choose this? Have you ever not thought about it?
Would you be happy if I said that there is a loss in profit? Because there is no need for physical damage in an elemental bow build at least for me.

I assume the other player is talking about increases. If you have 200% increased elemental damage and 100% increased lightning damage, the physical part would not benefit from this. Therefore you would be losing 50 * (2 + 1) = 150 damage from the increase.

So instead of turning 100 lightning damage to 400 lightning damage, in your example you would only get 200 lightning and 50 physical damage.

No. Another spoiler alert man:
Spoiler
100 = 50 + 50. No loss in profit.
