There is no way to upgrade the CPU on a PS5 or XSX ... and we should not even consider that when we're talking about a 12 years old ARPG game engine . Since release i saw constant CPU stutters in Sekhema , Breach & so on . As for Ping Latency they are random but when they happen it's +1000 MS lag every 30s bare minimum ( during holidays it was half a dozen lags of +3000MS / minute ) .

If this is going to be long term issues beyond the first month(s) of EA , and it's likely to stay like this on Console , GGG will have trouble keeping players at 1.0 Launch .

well yeah consoles are a meme, always were. i don't even factor them in. and i never had such issue with latency here. sure during busy holiday time i get stutter a bit but not as much as what you saying

lol i'm running most games at a stable 60 FPS , including Cyberpunk , PoE 2 isn't even capable to do stable 30 FPS . And i certainly didn't get any ping latency on other online titles with tons of players like HellDivers 2 last year .

GGG got zero valid excuses here ( again they choose to keep their unstable 12 years old ARPG game engine as it is ) , so they need to get real in the next months , period .

only issue I see right now is when rare mobs die into the corruption cleanse explosion. It spikes my vrm (not vram, the voltage regulator modules) and I see my shader usage spike as well.

After a dozen hours in the game, the base vrm temp is so close to 100c that when it spike, my fan profile kicks the fans to full blast for a second, then back down.

I have mentioned it in a few places, so hopefully it gets resolved before EA is done. However most everything else runs fine.

most main stream games are not cpu hogs tho... i mention this already. i wont be going in circles here. gl
This is nothing you, early Betrayal league literally destroyed my gpu at the time it released.
Adjust your setting, I have a i7-13700K on a 240 AIO, A770 in a small ATX case running HDMI into a TCL 4K 60Hz smart TV and had high usage and freezing when I first started playing.

Found that using Xxe upscaling was running at native display resolution of 4k, switched to the first choice for upscaling (forget what it's named) and set game to 1440 Fullscreen with 62 FPS limit, low graphics setting and BLOOM set to near as low as possible (20-30).

Running smooth since. Spike to about 70% usage and 70C-80C on loading and never over 30% usage and 65C while playing. Graphic card stays under 65C even with 100% usage, but usually 80-96% usage and 45C-55C.

I do have fast 8 GB read 4 Gen SSDs, if you have older slow drive it might be causing your long load times and heat build up.

Too busy killing mobs to admire the scenery.
