PoE 2 is cooking GPUs and CPUs Actually Dangerous to PC.

not only are they swinging the nerf bat all around, but theres serious performance issues. Check your temps and tell me its not turning into a straight up turkey roaster in maps.

3070 ti and top of the line i9 both with WATERCOOLING.

Every other game is fine benchmarks etc, this games running so much resources its actually dangerous, hope you guys got marshmellows.

Yea there are some real performance issues with the base code. I have an i9 and 20gb vram and when I enter a trial of sekhama or chaos, when mobs are spawning into maps during hourglass or rituals for some reason my fps stutters and the pixelation turns to gravel.

It's really janky and they monsters don't spawn in cleanly at all. They need to do a rewrite of their systems.

Enable Vsync.. problem solved. You do not need super high FPS for an ARPG

Good point!

This is why I use vsync for all PC games. In addition, you can set the frame limiter to 60 or 100, etc. to reduce stress on your system.
My processor is brand-new and reached 88°C. I haven't seen it go above this number. Yet..
I am currently playing on a laptop (i5, 4060, 16gb ram, ssd), all settings high at 1080p. I have smooth 100-110 fps all the time (fps limiter set to 120) and zero issues. Laptop is actually much cooler and quieter than when playing Elden ring DLC.

I have a Ryzen 5900X and a 3080 and my CPU is hovering around 60-65 degrees while my GPU is around 50 degrees, full aircooling. Visual settings maxed out, though FPS is capped to 60. You might wanna check your loop or AIO pump, whatever you have, if you're getting super high temps. Or cap some settings so it's not putting so much stress on your system.

Must be an Intel/Nvidia issue based on other comments, no issues here. I probably need to update drivers since it's been a couple months.
Due bad CPU and overheating my CPU has disabled boosting..
RTX is 3060 on laptop around 6GB

I dont need 144 FPS, so i just switch on PoE or different ARPG's
around 65fps..

Except unoptimalized towns due to MTX which is also somehow buggy,
i've never had problem with temperature of my HW on badly designed
easily heating gaming laptop..
RTX 4090 and Intel 13900k watercooled here.

GPU usage is consistently at 100% so I'm not bottlenecked.

Game engine seems to target 8 main threads (no HT) and runs very well on my machine getting around 160 fps @ 4k with DLAA and max settings.

No idea what you are referring to with cooking PCs, seems sound to me.
