Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access
Hmmm, I am new to the POE franchise. Love the game but also experience terrible stutters at times... and seeing so many people report it on official forums and have 0 acknowledgment of the studio after 56 pages and going...
Not a great look to be honest. Especially for an early access title. If not to communicate with your community, why make an early access? I had the stutters completely constant on Steamdeck, basically unplayable when it should be okay (if clearly not amazing) from what I have seen around. But I have been playing through act 1 and 2 on Geforce Now, and it was a great experience for the most part, but yesterday even there I got stutters on and off for hours. If it continues like that I am considering putting the game down and come back (Maybe) in 6 months or so. I'll check here if there is finally and answer... (I read the spirit spell trick, to try and turn it off. Will give that a go) |

Hi All
I know it is probably coincidence but all net spike lags gone after router hard-reset. Not to give false hope, I'm the the last person to send coments like "Power off/on" or "Check your internet connection, ... but maybe this would work for somebody. |

I have struggled with this for the last few days, but going to a wired connection seems to have solved it for me. It is still a pretty big issue that sitting next to a router with a gigabit connection on wifi 6 causes this kind of stuttering and lag

Was able to resolve my issue (atleast for today) by resetting my options back to default (just to undue all the various tries I had done before). Once that was done, I just capped the Foreground and Background FPS to 60 and checked those boxes. Boom, works for now...fingers crossed it keeps working.
