Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.

The game is fun when you play it in a group, since the map doesn't reset if one of the group members dies and gets revived. It is a chore when you die solo, since all mobs respawn and you can walk a mile again while trying to survive getting surrounded by groups of mobs that you cannot roll out of and bully you to death as a ranger.
That is honestly the only gripe I'm having with the game. Respawns and getting bullied into death. |

both my kids have walked away from poe 2, they found it to frustrating to play so guessing it is set to stupid hard pity.

While I am one of the "complainers" I need to indicate that in early game at least it's not dodge or die for me [invested too much into defense??].
For me it's Avoid damage OR get chunked. The gotcha is that I get chunked more than I chunk the boss as I WILL absolutely get smacked even though I'm trying to avoid damage. Does that make me bad at this game ... sure. Does this make PoE2 a bad game in isolation -- probably not. |

It's way to hard for some skills.... for example witch start is a pain. But of course that would be easy to fix with rebalancing. What I really hate is that you have start messesd up fights from begin. It's so frustrating. I played 15 years poe1 mostky in ssf and I'm 50 years old. I had fun with T16 content and relaxed builds. I had fun with the campain. The gameplay from poe2 feels for me just not good. I dont want to dodge 50% of the time. Theres the hack and slay feeling?
