Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.

2) loot drops have been horrendous for me. I am half way through act 2 and I have yet to receive a single yellow or orange drop from a boss that is for a sorc. It's been non stop bows, heavy armour and melee weapons. It's incredibly unsatisfying after spending ten mins on a boss, dying multiple times because my gear is so bad, to get ANOTHER orange rage helm. This can't be intended.

I feel your pain xD RNGesus has been very unkind. I got like 5 wooden mallets and 3 pig head hammers >.< If I wanted to make 15 different warriors, I would be the happiest guy on the planet but im playing a witch and never going to try a warrior.

I hope the bad drop's are related to the game being EA and there only being 4-5 uniques actually in the game... that or the Loot God just hates my face.

This is not a problem you should concern yourself with. GGG brought a game to the market. It's EA and people had to pay to enter. RIght now, they have enough funds to keep this game running. You should know that GGG has employes who look out for financial risks and will clearly tell if the game is going in the wrong direction, financial-wise. So saying "wont help get money to continue development" is just a superficial made-up argument from your side, so that it looks like you brought some good ideas/suggestions/criticism to the table. You don't know anything at all about the income GGG makes right now and you also don't know how many payong customers they need in the future to keep this game running. You also don't know for how many players you are speaking right now. 10%? 50%? Who knows, but I guess GGG has more information then you. So don't bring superficial arguments into this discussion to bolster your statements.

You don't know he's wrong either, that's his opinion, it's not unreasonable (I tend to agree with him, even if at the end of the day we don't know, time will tell), so what's your point ?

No.

Saying something like "will kill the developpement" would have be a risky assertion, I just said "won't help".

But maybe you consider that having less players is the better way to have more purchases in the store?
I find that GGG has done a remarkable job, it's one of the most accomplished EAs that I've been able to test, even though half of the content is missing!

Poe2 is a very good foundation to build on for the next decade, can't wait to see what happens next
I love PoE, I spent thousands of hours in PoE.
In PoE2 I like visualSs and... that's it. Too slow, too difficult at the start, too boring.

The worst thing is after PoE2 graphics I don't want to play PoE1)) And I don't like PoE2 gameplay. Now I'm without my favorite game.
I really hope that after EA something will be improved and we will all have a better PoE.
The main problem for me that i need more poe2.
The gameplay of the first poe when you press one button and everything dies... quickly gets boring. I don't even know what the cortex does, because usually when I reach it it dies in seconds.
A huge plus of poe2 is that you can get to the red maps (I haven't had time to go further yet) without guides and other utilities.
Gear progression is fine now (but with some trade). I do not expect BIS item from avery rare mob (or in one week of playing). I can feel upgrades: i get one-shots pretty often early, but after getting ~500 more hp/es and some res i can tank few heavy hits.

What are the disadvantages of poe2 for me:
1) too simplified tree. There is no sense of variability
2) simplified craft - what's the point in alts if there is nowhere to spend them? Even if you collect all the bases.
3) The maps are too big, but if you look at the top builds, they run through them just like poe1. Probably checkpoints would be good.
4) Gem system is simple and feels bad for me.
5) cant wait for other classes and weapons. I need them NOW.

Opinion from a complete newbie (my friend):
It would be nice to add a basic crafting tutorial. Somehow explain that res is only suffixes, that u can use orbs on everything etc.

pls dont make game zoomzoom and more easy.

Someone actually find this game difficult??? LOL
I was thinking suggesting it should be bit harder so we can have that feeling that we have accomplished something after killing though enemies, rather than just mindlessly clicking on screen like mentally disabled simpletons. XD

120h+ in. Different chars, endgame, all. If i wouldnt have gotten free access due to lifetime support, i would refund by this point. Visuals, Audio and bossfights are nice, but most of the game mechanics are unfinished, not thought trough or simply boring/tedious. Back to the drawing board GGG.
I agree that POE 2 is challenging, but not in a good way. White monsters have too much health and sometimes unnecessary movement speed. Something about slower-paced combat and faster enemies feels terrible!

Bosses are incredible; however, the final Act bosses have too much health and are overtuned. They feel hard for the sake of being hard. IMO, that's bad game design.

What bothers me the most is that we're punished for using combos such as Firewall + Orb of Storm + Arc, etc. Most mobs don't provide enough time to execute meaningful synergies.

In addition, the gameplay boils down to repeatedly dodging 1-shots, which isn't skill-based or fun.

Without speaking of the first boss of act2 helped with unreachable mobs :P

I remember old school games when any player findind a way to be unreachable had chances to be banned...
