Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.

poe2 passive skill board only has 1 node for HP, srsly. But it has tons of ES, wtf... Who made this board are really stupid, or just blind, idk
iam turn off by poe 2 i feel so dissapointed...i made my coffee and seat to play and when i face the next boss in every map make me vomit...i loose all my fun and i get disappointed and i dont even know why? the hardship of the bosses doesnt match the whole picture of the game! doesnt make any sence this lvl of difficulty, i mean i get if you want to face a hard boss for amazing drops but..here i feel i get punished for just try to have fun. if devs disconnect bosses for stepping forwards in game or if they just nerf by 30% or if they add difficulties like diablo then i feel the game will be great for everyone taste.can be fixed that
but str gives hp and int dosent give es
Add Scion To PoE2

Yeah 2HP per str. hm. People playing with 9k ES, but i can't even make 2k hp. 2k hp means ONESHOT from white mobs. And i understand what i am saying, cause just closed t7 maps.

And that 2nd paragraph is why I didn't even want to respond. Typical Souls elitist jerk mentality.

So its confirmed you summoned for help, therefore you never actually played Elden Ring, got it. Most people think the boss fights are the highlight. You don't because you're mechanically bad at games.

then get more ar? cos armour only gives mitagation for hp not es so those ppl at 9k es are not as tanky to phy as you with 2k life and 90% mita as 2k hp and 90% mita = 20K EHP
Add Scion To PoE2

You want the bosses 30% easier? You can already do it. It's called adjusting the difficulty by farming. This is intended by the devs.

Leave rushing to those that are good at the game. Go farm instead. Bosses are very easy to me because I farm a bit and then kill half an Act fast.

You are playing incorrectly and thinking this is POE1 where you don't have to farm for campaign.

A game that requires farming in early game rather than just a smooth process of gradual difficulty increase is bound to be niche at best. Mo live service game wants to have a population so low it is considered niche.

Agreed. I tried talking about the business side of a F2P, live service game a few times in this thread. The hardcore among the hardcore never seem to care.

POE2 needs to be a MASSIVELY successful game to exist for 10+ years like poe1 did. Any massively successful game, like for AAA titles you have Elden Ring, Wukong and Baldurs Gate 3, 3 examples from the last 3 years that averaged 15-20 million copies sold each, you have an overwhelming majority of those millions of players that are casuals. PoE2 is F2P, other than the 1 million+ early access payments they have already received, they will be relying on supporter packs and MTX top ups primarily in the future. Ofc I don't have exact numbers but casual players who are having fun always contribute the most amount of $$$, as poe2 is not a gatcha game so you don't depend on the 'whales' aka gambling addicts to steal their money.

It's not rocket science, most rich/well off gamers are casuals but don't have a lot of time, even I may be categorized as a casual, maybe not skill-wise but definitely time-wise. If I have fun and see myself staying put, I might spend $$$ to support the game. If I'm pissed and angry, I quit and go back to playing many other amazing games out there, not to mention other real life entertainment options. I don't have a skill issue, I just beat Jamanra on 3rd try and one shot every other boss, but I'm not having fun, it's tedious and frustrating. If PoE2 never had EA and waited a year and released the full 6 act campaign, and you have current Geonor and Jamanra as the first 2 act bosses of the early game of your endgame-heavy seasonal F2P live-service game, your game would be dead in 6 months and Tencent would be givign Jonathan calls.

I'm already dreaming about the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 major patch, and Baldur's Gate 3's patch 8 after that, and Monster Hunter Wilds after that... Tells me all I need to know if I'm really likely to stick around here.
