POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

We are hundreds by now. This is not something we can (or should) fix it, this is obviously on them and, personally, I'm not gonna compromise my system tweaking here and there just because I want to play the game. I recommend you guys to wait patiently until they sort it out and we get a proper permanent fix. It's an EA and it's only 2-3 days since it was released, the best we can do is just wait.

I've tried most of the suggested fixes here on the forum and it still crashes my entire PC. There were no problems all friday and saturday. I can't play at the moment, I'm waiting for a fix. Too bad.

FPS not an issue for me, but anytime i try to load the game for the first time 5/10 it crashes my entire pc, forcing me to restart.

What the heck is going on where its crashing / freezing your entire pc???

Cant even crl + alt del..

I have played Settlers league for like 200 hours, ZERO freezes. Then I quit and until week ago played Monster Hunter World. 3 days ago I logged back in to POE 1 to see some MTX, I got PC freezes when loading but did not pay attention to it. I had zero hardware changes to my PC since original setters league and only thing that changed was new POE 1 patch Necro Settlers and 24H2 update - One of these things caused the freeze and now also in POE 2.

The reason why we see so many posts about it now with POE 2 is because 100x more players are now trying out POE 2 copared to POE 1 in the past month.

I'm one of the affected too, Ryzen 5 5600x with GTX 1070 gpu. Disabling 2 threads fixes the issue temporarily. Make sure everyone that u report this to the Windows team so they can figure out a fix for this!
