Dunno, i still not got single freeze after deleting NVIDIA PoE1 Profile and adding PoE2 steam executables to Path of Exile 2 profile (as it should be). But i played only 6h, but before i cant enter Clearfell because it always freezed.

I have had my computer freeze three times since launch. I did try this suggestion with Profile inspector and I played the entire day without a freeze. But the time between freezes is so long that it might still happen later.
Adding a +1 to this major bug.

Happens randomly on the loading screen between areas. The pc becomes completely unresponsive, no mouse, no ctrl+alt+delete. The only thing I can do is hold down the power button on the pc and hard restart.

Same issue here. This seems to be a major bug
The same thing happens here: it freezes at the start or when loading the city. I also have a processor with the same X3D technology. I'll have to take a break from the game because these constant restarts could damage my computer.

I keep checking the patch notes but no change yet. No solutions have worked
Checking back in after using BIS to limit the processor as well as correcting the nvidia profile with profileinspector.
I thought it fixed the problem but I had a freeze just now and had to reset my PC.
I hope they fix this soon as it is getting really annoying.
Chiming in to report that setting processor affinity from task manager and unselecting a couple of threads actually helps. So the whole PC won't crash, only PoE 2. Still happens a lot and is very annoying and takes you out of the experience. Plus, you need to set the affinity every time you launch PoE 2...
So I had to reboot my PC 4 times in a row now.
After disabeling multithreating ingame I was able finally log in.
So I guess I will try to disable some cores in taskamanger next and see if this is a better temporary solution. Nothing else worked so far.
