my pc crash too, i login, use tp or change other zone and my pc freeze, i need reset manually, first day i can play 10 mints - 15 and get crash but today i crash in first or second tp or change of zone, i pref directx12 best quality, but on this moment only can play with vulkan with hight options but always in vulkan (i have same problem with vulkan in hight options), pls fix it.

i have my cpu and gpu with undervolt, but i disable it and getting normal voltages and i have same problem(poe 2 with default voltages same problem), i play baldurs gate 3 in medium (dlss quality) and i dont have problem, cyberpunk in medium/low (dlss) i never get crash (undervolt config).

Dunno, i still not got single freeze after deleting NVIDIA PoE1 Profile and adding PoE2 steam executables to Path of Exile 2 profile (as it should be). But i played only 6h, but before i cant enter Clearfell because it always freezed.

try to:
1) Use Win 7 compatibility mode for .exe files of PathOfExile2 inside game folder
2) Steam - right click on PoE2 - properties - General tab - Steam Overlay switch OFF.

this is not the solution all my steam games are steam overlay switched off and the game is crashing. po1 working fine poe 2 is crashing all the time i teleport and now i can play hours randomly with a crash ( nvidia drivers 566.03 and po2 windowed fullscreen are my best workaround atm)

ggg are writing here the issue is windows 24H2 BUT po1 is running fine since i have this new pc ! then they have to work to find this issue

I have 23h2 and I have freezes all the time :/

I managed to mitigate the issue, using only 7 of my 8 cores in the Path of Exile 2 process from the core affinity, in task manager. Performance are a litle worst, but never crashed all day. Waiting for a fix, better than ruining the PC.

Nah doesent work for me still freezing (my freezes are only the game screen freezes and makes a sound) but I must restart game all the time)

I just want them to acknowledge it as a problem, because it crashes the whole computer. I am currently playing with multi-threading disabled and dealing with the 20 fps in town. I don't think I should have to make changes to the BIOS settings when other games don't have this issue.

Game is fun otherwise and I'd be willing to work with the devs to help them understand the issue for sure.

Same here, RTX 4070 and Ryzen 7800X3D.

PC crashes everytime I try to teleport anywhere (town, other region). I'm unable to play.

A small remedy to not have your whole PC crash and just have only the game crash is finding the process in the task manager and setting its affinity to less cores (uncheck some of them).
