POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
Battle encoder shirase worked for me. Haven't tried the Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling, but had tried all other workarounds and they did nothing. I can play the whole day(8 hr?) no problem, but I also keep 2 core off, since sometimes the game freezes as soon as the character select. Once I had the game freeze on startup.
BES at -5% wth 2 core saved, as soon as I can load in for the first time I had no problems 99% of the time. 7800x3D, 4080 super, windows latest. I play on Steam. dx12, multithreading enabled Edit: Also, the patch notes is not related to the freeze problem, only occasional crashes. Last edited by yFresh#5405 on Dec 17, 2024, 7:23:26 PM

THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS, THOSE 12 CLIENT CRASH FIXES ARE NOTHING BUT A LIE TO KEEP OUR MOUTHS SHUT!
GGG I HATE YOU AND I'LL NEVER SPEND ONE DIME IN YOUR GAMES AGAIN!! [Removed by Support] Edit: Needless to say, but game crashed within 2 minutes after new patch release. DISGUSTING!! Last edited by Nichelle_GGG#0000 on Dec 17, 2024, 8:16:20 PM

Still crashing after recent patch using DX12
9800X3D, 3070, Windows 24H2 |
|
Crashed on my first loading screen after the patch, guess it's disable and re-enable multithreading before every single teleport or zone transition until January then.
I understand this might be a difficult problem to fix but looking at the traffic to the two main threads about this it's obviously a widespread problem worrying a lot of people beyond just not being able to play the game (risk to hardware), an update of some kind would be nice GGG.. |

This is so sad.
Still crashing as of new patch 12/17/2024 EDIT: This is discouraging as hell, I've spent $30 for a game that is unplayable during the holidays. =( Last edited by thefablepure#5797 on Dec 17, 2024, 8:27:04 PM

" Very. Basically there is a low chance of immediate failure, and a certainty of shortened component lifespan. If your system is already on its last legs or is barely hanging on there then this can land the killing blow. |
